Bipolar Bear
A fractured mind,
Betwixt the seems,
Of barren fields
And fields of green.
Vagabond, a character I made for a manga. This is a progress post. These drawings are my first 3 drawings of him on my first week of trying to learn to draw.
So I'm making a game.
It's based on games like Fire Emblem, FF Tactics, and Tactics Ogre. Just thought it sounded fun. I'm going to be telling the story of the Green Knight that was mentioned in my Quest Board website games. Check my itch.io for more!
So basically I’m an indie author and game dev on a side quest to unlock the Mangaka Skill Tree.
I’m practicing and so I drew a moment from my Sword/Eye novels.
A Side Quest Taken Late
The year was 2012, and a story had been in my head for years at that point. I hadn't really written anything before aside from a single short story and a handful of poems. But this story was bigger than me - much bigger.
Iago from my Sword/Eye novels.
I’m trying to learn how to make manga art bc I need to be able to create my own manga and illustrations. I desperately desire creative independence.
Finding Gilgamesh: The Inextricable Narrative
Fiction is just as important as reality itself. Narratives are innate to the human psyche, and we think in terms of stories, even when we're unaware of it. It's an odd thing, really, that mankind would build itself upon such a strange concept, and even stranger that it appeared to us naturally...
I suck at art, but this is an “OC as drawn by the author.” This is Lukas from my Sword/Eye novels
I spent $5600 on my first manga project, simply because I was afraid...
I'm an indie author, video game developer, and pixel artist, but I have always been afraid of attempting to create manga.
There's a story here. When I was 22, back in 2015, I decided that the story I had growing in my head would work best as a manga. There was one problem with this, a simple conundrum: I couldn't draw.
New chirping in the Aviary
This is a new poem from "The Lark Laughter," which will be my 4th poetry volume when completed.

New blog post: I hate modern poetry and now ur gonna hear about it! D:<
Because it focuses on narrative. When I focused on writing in college, I was met with a unique dilemma. I was told that my poetry was "too abstract" and "almost meaningless" as such. As I was trained further, it became rather obvious to me that the issue I was facing and the conflict I was having with my professors wasn't that my poetry wasn't well-written or "wrong," but rather that my professors and I had a deep disagreement on the fundamentals and philosophy of poetry. To them, poetry was a vehicle to express narrative, opinion, belief, and identity.
I didn't think of poetry that way...
So this is a free little game I made. It's like 5-mins long and set in my Brave Quest world.^_^
Of the seven books I've written, I am proud to call this one my weirdest. $2.99 on Amazon rn.
So here's some stuff from my SRPG game wip...
If you add 3 sentences to your work in progress and show me, I will add 4 sentences to my work in progress and show you.
Okay, sounds fun! ^_^
“That means nothing to me.” Bones said with an impassive shrug. “Yup,” Xaia yawned, “I got nothin’.” “You said the bloodline of Raevn?!” Professor Irenaeus gasped. “Does the Black Blood still truly run through the veins of the living?”
