11.20.13 365 project. One day I made a little man wearing a Nargear Backpack out of Sculpey clay. The man got decapitated, lost an arm, and his pants fell off but his Nargear backpack still is in pretty good shape. Proof that Nargear Packs are truly burly!

Every new year is a good time for reflection of the last year and to reminisce on the memories I enjoyed most. 2012 included getting married to my one & only, Randall Crone in May! We adopted our furry little son, Prince Rupert Crone (an English Bulldog) and we also discovered the news that we were expecting a little girl in April 2013! Seriously a Fantastic year! 2013 is going to be full of life changing experiences for all of us! We are so excited to meet Preslee (our daughter) and live happily ever after!
Every new year is also a good time to set goals and a few-ole' resolutions. A firm decision to do or not to do something(s). This year, I created a Cleaning Chart list to help me stay on scheduled cleanings. I borrowed the design concept from http://www.foodfitnessandfamilyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Cleaning-Schedule.png when I was looking for an easy template to enter my personal chores. Although this blog didn't provide a template, I loved the design. I like the Chevron pattern of the background and the overall simple look of the chart. I didn't want a boring/ugly chore list to look at when I have to start cleaning so thank you foodfitnessandfamilyblog.com for the design concept! I likey! Here is my version...

Screenprinting Kitchen Towels
I gave quite a few of these out for gifts for Christmas gifts. They were inexpensive and fun to make. Silkscreen printing can be a process to get your image on the screen but once you do...you can crank out hundreds pretty effortlessly. Satisfying!
I must admit, I didn't think of this project all by myself. Pinterest.com came through with this one. And while I would LOVE to give props to the original website that gave me the idea, it doesn't exist on the web anymore. So...below is an orginal photo of the project and if the inventor wants to come clean with their name...I would love to give you credit! My version is slightly different. I couldn't find the exact towels I wanted to use in my hometown, so I settled with Flour Sak Towels from Target. Ikea.com has some steller kitchen towels with the oh-so-French red stripe down the side...but they only sell them in-stores. Such a bummer. I did print some on a lower quality towel with a red stripe that I found at Walmart and I am so disappointed- I went through all the work with printing them and after washing them, they are just a piece of crap towel. no bueno. Well if you have any questions on the process just contact me and I would love to help!
