I wish I could tell all of my friends how much they mean to me, despite my disappearance - which I never filled anybody in on. I left without saying goodbye or explaining why. It was a period of time where i needed space, a time to rebuild from the bottom up, and regain strength.

I am happier than I've been in awhile - I feel as though I have finally begun to grow into myself. There are so many people I miss, but I can’t find the words to address them by. I know some people wouldn’t hear it. All I can say is that I hope they are doing well and excelling in whatever they put their mind to. After battling with my emotions for months - debating between what to keep to myself and what to disclose - led me to believe there was nothing I could do. I assumed that nobody cared to listen. In plain words, that was selfish on my behalf. I short-changed not just my friends, but myself.

The same goes for everyone; never convince yourself that you’re not worthy of someone or something else. Even if you can’t immediately find comfort in a friend, find solace in the world around you. Sink your bare feet into the ground and remind yourself that you’re home.

It’s important to remember who your friends are. They’re the people who will put up with your shit no matter what. They’ll whip you into shape when you go into pits of self-doubt. Most importantly, close friends never give up on each other.

Sorry about this sentimental post. I’ve spent a lot of time reviewing some of my friendships. I am so thankful to have/have had friends, followers, lovers, whoever it may be - that have supported me even when I am distant.

I love you all - whether you’re a stranger or a friend.
