WELCOME TO MCKIRK WEEK 2026
Running from June 8th - 14th, McKirk Week is a creation event focused on the Kirk/McCoy pairing, across all universes.ย
HOW IT WORKS:
There are three prompt lists โ Trek, Gen, and NSFW. Trek are prompts based on the Star Trek universe, Gen are general prompts and tropes, and NSFW are of course the NSFW prompts. Youโre welcome to pick from any prompt list (or even combine a few), and you can fill as many or as few prompts as you fancy. Feel free to take an NSFW prompt and make it SFW, or vice versa - use these prompts in whatever way inspires you.
Your creations can be any form of media: art, fic, edits, meta, videos, web weaves, memes, playlists, fic rec lists, cosplayโฆ the list goes on! As long as you can make it McKirk, it counts.
On that note: this is a McKirk event so McKirk should be the main pairing in your works. Background ships, side pairings, and poly ships are okay as long as Kirk and McCoy are the focus.
*note: treat Gen prompt: Free Day as your free space - anything goes!

jim was kind enough to bring his boyfriend coffee the morning after ๐
repainted the previous piece, three years(ish) on. I'm still kinda giddy about how much I've improved since then! decided to hew closer to the reference piece in this go, and really take my time with bones.
I'm so happy with how this turned out ๐ please enjoy
Iโm not crying at this William Shatner-credited novel describing Kirk thinking about McCoy, you are
hang in there jimmy

Bind #4 - Switch by Ceres_Libera on AO3
What do you mean I finished binderary project #4 before bindery project #2 & #3
This is not only my favourite ever fic, but my favourite ever book/story/wherever. I've come back to it so many times over the years and every time I absolutely adore it.
Tiny text is tiny because I wanted to make a text block that fit through my guillotine.
This was originally meant to be my "over the top/impractical cover design with rhinestones, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted something that wouldn't get damaged with use, and I didn't want to buy rhinestone application equipment for one project. I might still try it in the future though.
Chameleon vinyl is fun, edge painting with alcohol based metallic paint was a mistake but I was too impatient to go out and buy something non-alchohol based when this was already on my shelf. It's a little messy in places but not bad for a first attempt! I really want to learn proper edge gilding at some point.
