What a decade for fashion.
Love the typography on this!
I’m not sure what I like more, the styling, or the haircuts!
One of my favourites in my vintage collection! Just need to find the right fabric for the one on the far right.
#vintagepaperpatterns #1969
The most scary crochet pattern booklet?
Beautiful early 50′s dress pattern. The logo is fabulous!
Vintage accessories. What goes around comes around, but with new fabric technologies and patterns.
Vintage 70′s dress pattern
Beautiful #vintage 1930′s dress pattern.
The everlasting cactus
Flamingoes! And a snoozy dog enjoying new cushions.
Now a hairy flamingo cushion in the corner...
Hipsters and Thievery doll and bow tie. Gulliver was self drafted, complete with skinny jeans, braces and snazzy socks. Gulliver's legs are articulated and he has a slight flush in his cheeks due to his hand embroidered face!
Ozan (who's 18 months old has the hard task of looking after the wayward Gulliver, or is that the wrong way round?!) also gets to sport a rather dashing child sized self-designed mini bow tie (with rip tape fastenings). fashioned from a classic Liberty Caeser print tana lawn cotton no less.
What a dapper mini-hipster in the making!
Headscarves and Thievery with a full size matching headscarf and 'Colette' - the minxy lady who needs to be hidden...
Using Mollie Makes doll template.
Another day, another sewing triumph. Zippy Tee in vintage fabric. DONE.
First time finishing seams properly and using interfacing. Surprisingly chuffed with the finished product and can wear it (and wash it) with confidence that it won't fall apart, and no-one else has a tee quite like this one.
Me-Made-In-May.
The image on the front of the sewing pattern is awful. But I know a bat-wing jersey slub when I see one. And me being me, it obviously was made in an almost too-bright-for-human-eyes colour. Hacked the pattern to make it long sleeved and more fitted through the lower arm.
A bit of a surprise at just how see through it is, but a good excuse to break out the neon underwear at the same time.
Double denim? No double neon is waaaayyy better.
Notions in Perth. Great Wall art to stumble upon.
