Korean Alphabet
Again, I totally forgot I haven’t gone through the basics (sorry) There are two alphabets in the Korean language. There is the consonant alphabet and the vowel alphabet. To accent the consonant, we use the double lettering system applying to only 5 consonants. In the vowel alphabet, there is the common vowels and the complex vowels. So without further rambling, lets get started!
THE CONSONANT ALPHABET
ㄱ- g/k ㄴ- n ㄷ- d/t ㄹ- r/l ㅁ- m ㅂ- b ㅅ- s
ㅇ- ng ㅈ- j ㅊ- ch ㅋ- k ㅌ- t ㅍ- p ㅎ- h
DOUBLE LETTERING CONSONANTS
ㄲ- gg/kk ㄸ- dd/tt ㅃ- bb ㅆ- ss ㅉ- jj
THE VOWEL ALPHABET
ㅏ- a ㅑ- ya ㅓ- eo ㅕ- yeo ㅗ- o ㅛ- yo
ㅜ- u ㅠ- yu ㅡ- eu ㅣ - i
COMPLEX VOWELS
ㅐ- ae ㅒ- yae ㅔ- e ㅖ- ye ㅘ- wa ㅙ- wae
ㅚ- oe ㅝ- wo ㅞ- we ㅟ- wi ㅢ - ui
