of course. this place just kept getting weirder. “i didn’t think he existed.” cora mused, not wanting to say anything else. “at least here you can try to be your own person without him here.”

“i mean, of course he exists, i mean, i exist.” she said to her. “you aren’t wrong about that, i just kind of am worried about my siblings.”

persephone shook her head. “for a while, yes. but the barrier was taken down, allowing more isle kids to come to auradon. do you not remember that?” she mused before nodding. “exactly so… what i’m trying to say is that being here isn’t all that bad, in comparison. none of the kids deserved it there, you’re right about that.”

“i don’t remember that because of the fact that none of that ever happened.” she said to persephone. uma knew that those things were big enough that she would remember if they actually happened. “except you lived your life happily not caring about all the suffering that was going on.”

at the sound of that familiar voice, jane perked up. “mal!” she grinned and rushed over, hugging her friend tight. “i’m so glad you’re here. i-i thought i was alone.” she whispered before pulling back to look at her. “is it just me and you here? not that i mind!” jane mused with a smile.

mal hugged jane tight, jane was one of mal’s first auradon friends and was always there for her. “so far i’ve seen carlos, ben, audrey, and evie.” she said to her.

vanellope chuckled a little. “i think you and i are going to get on very well. i did yell at him, almost losing my job in the process. i also enjoy breaking the rules, that’s why i did it knowing i’d get in trouble. i don’t care, i just wanna race.”

“well if he ever shows up here, let me know.. i bet i can make sure he regrets yelling at you.” the princess said with a smile. olivia never was the stereotypical princess and she never wanted to be one. she enjoyed breaking the rules and getting in trouble.

alec sighed a little at the other. “we’re not all small minded, thank you. it has been a while since i’ve seen you also.” he admitted. “good to see you.” was it? 

“yes, but unlike you shadowhunters, i never have to age if i don’t want to.” kaley could change her age whenever she wanted to. “i’m sure it is.” she crossed her arms.

“really? i’m very sorry to hear that. she does indeed deserve it, i believe every child does.” perdita mused with a soft nod. “what’s her name? and your’s, of course. i’m perdita, by the way.”

“i mean, it taught me to be the best mom to her and make sure she always has a smile on her face.” she said. “it’s nice to meet you perdita, i’m elena and this is mila.”

“i blame our parents and grammy for putting too much pressure on you.” also part of it might’ve been how mad olivia was that her parents sent her away.

she should have been paying more attention to had walked in her store, but as soon as she heard that voice, her head whipped up. “thank fuck.” delilah muttered before hurrying to her sister, pulling her into her arms. “i was getting so worried! i’ve been looking for you! where’ve you been hiding?” she whispered before pulling back, scanning her little sister for injuries. “are you alright?”

while they might’ve had differing opinions on their mom, gabriella still loved her sister. gabriella avoided most people on the isle, so she spent a lot of time with her sister. she wrapped her arms arounnd delilah hugging her. “i’ve been keeping to myself like i usually do, mostly just studying for class. i’m fine. how about you?”

rapunzel was a bit afraid that this was another tower she was trapped in, but a town instead of a tower, but she knew with flynnj that wouldn’t be the case. “about a week, you?”

.｡.:*☆ “Mal!” Ben had been hoping to find her somewhere. Of course he had. And not only because Mal and her magic could maybe explain why they were all trapped in this place. But also because he loved his future wife, of course.

 “I am glad you made it here!”  

she wrapped her arms around her fiance so happy that he remembered her. “i’m glad you are here and you remember me.” she said with a smile. “i ran into uma and well she doesn’t remember ever coming to auradon or us becoming friends.”

rose smiled softly. “it sounds pretty nice. i do miss being able to explore different places.” she admitted with a sigh.

“i can understand that, when i was seeing more of the fright zone it was incredible and beautiful.” she smiled.

patch nodded slowly. “it might not be a weapon but it’s… pretty weird for me.” she admitted, swallowing. “i’ve never seen anything overly out of the ordinary. at least not like this.”

“i can understand that, it’s not weird for me since i’ve known about it my whole life.” she said to patch.

aurora shook her head. “there really is no use in us arguing about this as clearly… neither of us are going to back down. perhaps were merely are talking about a different woman. philip’s kiss did not work as i do not love him. i do however, love my mother. i don’t have children.” she sighed softly. “my family are dead, they’ve never met you. your mother may have treated everyone badly and wanted power but mine did not.”

“i don’t know what fairy land you come from, but a fairy named maleficent that knows a person named aurora who she cursed to sleep isn’t exactly something that happens to every person.” she said rolling her eyes. “and i never said i didn’t love my mother, she might’ve done bad things and wasn’t the best person, but she still raised me when where i come from so many parents abandon their children.” she said. “i don’t know what lies you were told, but i’ve met your mom, she wasn’t the biggest fan of me because of my mother.”

“i’m very glad to hear that!” she mused as she gestured to mal to sit with her, happy to engage in conversation. “i get that. where i’m from… things like that didn’t exist. nor did many careers accept women. we’re very lucky here, with things being much more accepting. but that doesn’t mean you need to go to a career counsellor. since perhaps, you might be here for a while… what could you see yourself doing here? if you do not return home?” evie knew it was perhaps a touchy subject.

“where i came from before i went to auradon, jobs weren’t exactly a thing. there was no money, most people just stole what they wanted. though there wasn’t much to steal and the things you did weren’t really that good.” she explained to evelyn. the isle was an awful place and was nothing more than a prison. “i really don’t know. for me...for most of my life, a future wasn’t something i ever thought i would have.
