Someone write me some cute greenelan headcanons while I soak my fingers in acetone to get my acrylic nails off so I can write a fic

- Alyssa’s love language is baking, so for their anniversary Emma tries to bake her a cake (it goes disastrously and she’ll never be trusted to use an oven without supervision again)

- Once she’s out Mrs Greene let’s Alyssa redecorate her room and she chooses a space theme. Emma in turn sticks glow in the dark stars on the ceiling in the shape of a heart and although she wanted to turn them into constellations Alyssa doesn’t remove them

- Alyssa learns piano for the only reason that she wants to be able to write a song for Emma

- They wear matching necklaces (there’s not really anything to that they just decided to one day)

Just wrote the final scene to a fic like I’ve written more than 2 chapters (for context I’m in the middle of chapter 3 and I have like 14 planned but idk it might go down-)

But yeah wrote the final scene so hey I have a beginning no middle but an end! 😌✌️

Summary:

When Emma Nolan and her friends were forced to share a train compartment with Alyssa Greene and her friends on the way to their third year at Hogwarts, she thought it would be a one-time thing. It’s no secret that neither witch wanted anything to do with the other, but with darkness on the horizon, the world seems to know exactly how to place people in each other’s laps — or, well, train compartments. 

(Or, in order to save the world, you have to start liking the people that destiny has forced you to do it with. There’s an impossible task ahead; it’s just a matter of whether or not they can sort out their differences in time.)

u know what, even if my writing isnt the BEST, i still made it all on my own. like there was a blank word doc and i filled it up with my own words, my own story. i took what was in my head and i made it a real thing. idk i feel like that alone is something to be proud of.

Okay gonna share some writing that’s not a fic I’ve just been having feels™️ recently and this has been a way of coping-

Life is not just a game

They tell you life is a game, and I suppose that's true; people are dealt different hands that can help or hinder them, such as in life. But I don't like that analogy. Life isn't a game it's multiple, sometimes your hand will fit with someone else's and you will play each other for a while; but who are you kidding, you both know you'll turn out to be in different games in the end. Sometimes it feels like you're the only person playing your game and that you should just give up, because what's the point in being alone with your cards, and nothing to use them for. I think that my hand is similar to my friends, we often play matching cards, almost like snap. Then they will play something; and I'll be hindered. I don't have that card, I don't have anything like it, I'm not playing the same game as them. There'll be times when your hand is so fucked up you feel like you're losing your game. But someone will come along and play just the right card so you can carry on. I used to play cards with my family a lot; I still do with my friends. We used to have a joke about how people were cheating when the game finished to quickly. I think about that now and compare those games to my life. There's been times when something's happened and I feel it shouldn't have, just like when your game is over before it's really begun. So yes I suppose life is a game, but you have to remember, games are not played fairly.
