“i had someone at a fansign today come up to me and try to get me to sign a photocard of you,” chaemi admitted with a laugh. “i wondered if it was some sort of inside joke they had, or if they actually thought i was you! now that i think about it, i don’t even really think we look that alike...we just have bangs and smile a lot,” she laughed again @rvzria
“i definitely think they should have sent you on idol project 4 if they wanted a byulbit win,” tiwi mused aloud, swinging her legs off the end of the bridge they were sitting on. “you’re so nice. not only would all the judges and fans fall in love with you, but all the competitors too!” @rvchaemi
“i think misaki and yue did great! isis too-- i’m in groups with her, and even i saw a whole new side to her!” chaemi commented brightly, looking out at the water. “i didn’t really need that kind of exposure, you know? i think that was the point. i don’t know if new age wanted anyone to win. i think they just wanted to give some lesser-known members a platform.”
“you know, terra is so weird. i don’t understand it half the time,” yujeong said. “they assign us colours or whatever, but then barely do anything with it? i guess maybe that’s a good thing, but i would have thought they’d dye my hair purple by this point…. i kind of want to see dajeong with yellow hair… that’d be kind of funny…”
“you would look cool with purple hair! would you want dark or pastel?” chaemi asked excitedly
rvtiwi:
“not a billion,” tiwi insisted. “just six. eight if you count japanese and burmese but… i don’t. i don’t have a good grasp on them yet.”
“oh, god, tiwi-- do you even hear yourself?” she asked dramatically. “you know how many i know? one and i barely know it!”
rvyooi:
“no, but she had more control back then. and we were a lot younger,” yue pointed out. “she was kind of the queen of the group and was treated as such, so there was no real need for her to act out, you know? but yeah… mandarin unit is nice… even though i still have to live with her…”
“that makes sense. you’d think that because there’s more separation everywhere, she’d mellow out but.... god.... i don’t want to be negative but she’s so hard to be around,” chaemi admitted softly. “well...if you ever need a break.... there’s room in our unit. dylan and isis are visiting home for the month.”

“i know,” yue asked with a big sigh. “i’ve worked so hard to debut again, and being an idol is my dream. but people like her make the rush of it all finally happening feel so much less special. and this is the second group i’ve been in with her too. it hurts.”
“was it this bad when you were in your first group with her?” chaemi asked curiously, tugging on her pigtail. “at least you’re in the mandarin unit too, right? that’s gotta be some time you can escape...”
rvtiwi:
“i don’t think i’m actually a big deal,” tiwi said sheepishly. “i think it’s more that i’m just everywhere so people have more chances to recognize me.”
“you totally are! you’re a great dancer, a good singer, a good rapper... charismatic, know a billion languages, super smart, super nice. you’re a huge deal,” chaemi insisted.
rvtiwi:
“you’re right but… that just makes me feel bad,” tiwi giggled, hiding her face. “i don’t want to put anything to waste! or be a financial burden– even if it’s a tiny one!”
“oh, i totally get that. being wasteful feels terrible. but i do think that it could all be figured out, you know? you’re kind of a big deal.”
rvmint:
“i really hope they get it together, because it’s not because of lack of resources. it’s lack of effort. and ginny doesn’t deserve to be shunned.”
“i could see siren having to put out a music video like that because they don’t have the resources. but higher? it was just negligence.”
rvyooi:
“are we speaking bad about her? or are we just discussing all the bad things she’s said about us?” yue asked timidly.
“oh, yue, she’s awful,” chaemi cried out, giving in. “i tried to ask to hang out with her so we would have some sort of rapport when we debut, and she told me that she had no interest in getting to know me and that she was a good enough actor to fake it. who says that?”
rvtiwi:
“i don’t know if i would. i’d be so worried about getting it dirty. or losing a patch. but it’s still such a great idea!”
“yeah but..... okay maybe this sounds super pretentious or whatever but like.... i think new age would be able to clean or replace anything, you know? they have enough money, and i think we will too eventually.”
rvtiwi:
tiwi squealed in excitement. “we need to tell our manager immediately so someone can make that happen! that’s the cutest idea i’ve ever heard! and so unique– what other group could do something like that?”
“no one, and that’s the point! it’s so uniquely us! and it would be so cute. like...i’d unironically wear it all the time, not just for promotions.”
rvyooi:
“do you mean izumi? you can just say izumi,” yue laughed. “or liyang. either way…same.”
“i mean... i don’t want to speak bad about teammates or talk behind peoples backs but... yeah...”
rvmint:
“i really hope her next song is incredible. it won’t make up for a botched debut, but it’s something good for her anyway, right?”
“she’s too good-- she deserves it. she could be a superstar, but not if higher keeps giving her music videos like that.”
rvtiwi:
“oh we totally will. you know what would be cute though? jackets for each unit, with the constellation on the back!” tiwi gushed.” wait, i take that back. then i’d end up with like twelve coats. my closet isn’t big enough for that.”
“what if it was like...buttons or patches? like we all got jackets that say byulbit, but we get a patch sewn on with the constellation of every unit we’re in?”
