“We definitely should! I don’t think we’ve had any overlap before so it could be a good time,” Baohui said with a grin.

“i don’t think so either, which is frankly amazing to me. like i know you guys just debuted, but antares is super active-- wouldn’t i know it,” tiwi laughed, pretending to wipe sweat off her brow. though, was she really joking? she never got a moment to rest, it seemed. “we should research all the best photo spots! or i guess.... most of y’all probably know good photo spots.... i’m the foreign import, i suppose...”

“hey, i think scope blue and byulbit antares are going to be in china at the same time this month!” tiwi gushed, checking the schedule her manager sent her on her phone once more to be sure. “we should get some of our groups together and do something fun! we could take pictures for fansites too if we really wanted to, but i think it could be cool bonding! you know, both super groups’ mandarin units and all~” @chenrv​ @rvbaohui​

“i think we should do something special for sumi,” tiwi told her friend, hugging her pillow, all slumped against the wall. “daizee just had a comeback too, right? it’s going to be a mess in bangkok when we go there for promotions. she’s probably so stressed about it...” @ditarang​

“i definitely think they should have sent you on idol project 4 if they wanted a byulbit win,” tiwi mused aloud, swinging her legs off the end of the bridge they were sitting on. “you’re so nice. not only would all the judges and fans fall in love with you, but all the competitors too!” @rvchaemi​

“do you ever wish they’d send you on a different idol project?” tiwi mused curiously, smiling at her quiet groupmate. “i can totally see benefits of both seasons, but you would have had way more friends to compete alongside if you went with isis and misaki!” @rvmint​

“you know, we have some downtime in beijing when we’re promoting next week,” tiwi said, scrolling through the schedule their manager had just sent them. “we should do some sightseeing! you grew up there, right? you should show me around.” @achararv​

“you totally are! you’re a great dancer, a good singer, a good rapper… charismatic, know a billion languages, super smart, super nice. you’re a huge deal,” chaemi insisted.

“not a billion,” tiwi insisted. “just six. eight if you count japanese and burmese but... i don’t. i don’t have a good grasp on them yet.”

“unlikely, but i’ll accept the scolding if that day ever comes,” tiwi responded

“well how do you say it?” she asked, exasperated. “you’re probably wrong too– what makes me more wrong?”

“well, if i’m wrong, i’ve never been corrected, which really makes it hoa and bian’s fault,” tiwi insisted. she would have remembered a correction. “it’s like this... i think,” she answered, before demonstrating.

“yeah… all of you kind of got to know each other for a while before i came along,” she said awkwardly. “that’s why i want to do this. i know it’s weird having me thrown in out of nowhere, but… i really want this to work.”

tiwi frowned, holding sumi’s arm gently. “it’s okay! it’ll all come with time, you know? lot’s of groups have last minute additions!” she assured sumi. “plus, even though i’ve been here, i haven’t had the opportunity to get super close to thet yet! so it’s not like you’re at a huge disadvantage or something...”

“no, it’s just… of everything, vpop is probably the least popular in south korea. and all the other groups have done so well. i don’t want to be the flop unit.”

“oh... i mean...” she paused. bian wasn’t exactly wrong. “well, we’ll do our best! it’s why they left our unit for last, right?” she pointed out. “to build up hype, and so people were excited about all of us! that’s why hoa is on idol project too, right? and we’re surely going to be a big thing in vietnam!”

“stop laughing! how am i going to learn how to say the word if you keep laughing at me instead of correcting me,” chaeyoung whined, trying to hide her blush. she really didn’t have the vietnamese fluency to be in ankaa, but she was too stubborn to back out now. “ where did i mess up?” @rvbianca​ @rvhope​ @rvtiwi​

“i don’t know that word either! i just think it’s funny how you say it!” tiwi answered with a giggle. “that must be slang or something-- i’ve never heard it used before. i’ll have to look into what that means....”

“you deserve the role. or achara,” dita insisted. “i appreciate your faith, but i really don’t think i can do this.”

“you can. we’ll be here to support you. but this was meant for you,” tiwi assured her.

“oh, i totally get that. being wasteful feels terrible. but i do think that it could all be figured out, you know? you’re kind of a big deal.”

“i don’t think i’m actually a big deal,” tiwi said sheepishly. “i think it’s more that i’m just everywhere so people have more chances to recognize me.”

“i brought gifts,” sumi offered softly, looking at the faces of her future unit-mates. they’d been training together for a month or so now, and it was awkward. of course it was, what with the rumors attached to her, and the fact that they were all close. but sumi wanted to make this work, so when they all moved into the byulbit dorms to prepare for lyncis’ debut, she made the first step. “snacks and stuff from thailand! some of the good stuff, you can’t get here. i thought….. we could all have them together and have a game night or something…” @ditarang​ @achararv​ @rvtiwi​ @rvmint​

tiwi smiled brightly, taking the snacks excitedly to see whant sumi had brought. “that was so nice of you! you really didn’t have too...” she exclaimed. she’d been staying with the antares unit a lot, but when they’d moved to the new dorms, she’d made the decision to stay in the lyncis dorms. there were less people. even though in the dorm itself, it was just four people instead of five, it just felt like more space. “that sounds like a great idea! team bonding and stuff! dita and i know each other pretty well, same with achara but... i think it’s totally necessary.”

“well, that’s the right attitude,” bian answered, finally yielding a smile. “i know how busy you are with the other units but… i’m looking forward to working with you. and i hope you being in the unit gets more eyes on it. i’m a little worried about ankaa. we need all the help we can get.”

“what do you mean?” tiwi asked, eyebrows raising a little. “do one of you have some sort of scandal i didn’t know about? what’s so different about this unit?”
