She was always quite an easy thing to set off and AJ wasn’t about to question what could’ve been the issue now. Sometimes it was better to not ask ‘why’ when it came to the other AJ. “Hey. Hey. Hey. I don’t know what you’re talking ‘bout now…. but I’m right here.” He held his hands on her smaller arms. Forcing her body to face straight at his. Waiting until he didn’t feel her trying to possibly move or pull away from him, Styles then moved a hand to her chin and forced his wife to turn her gaze up to him. “Relax a little, alright? Sit down and please, calm down.”
known for her anger, her tantrums. her manipulation. aj was known to let her emotions get the best of her. to lash out at the slightest negative situation. but something that she rarely acted on was the one emotion that truly tugged at her heart. she rarely let herself admit when she was upset. missing her husband more than she could explain. a desperation as she stood by the bathroom door of his hotel room, watching him pack for europe had caused the words to fall from her lips before she could even explain to herself what had caused them. how could you miss someone so much that was standing in the same room as you, aj wasn’t sure. but she knew she did. she missed him. or, more importantly, missed his attention.
he was the first “boyfriend” of hers that she seemed to not be able to wrap around her finger. he had his mind focused on where it was suppose to be. which she admired. but she still felt alone. still wanted more of him. and knowing he would be going away for so long, without her, it was enough to make her want to block the door and throw a tantrum until he packed her in his bag.
‘ yeah, you’re right here. for now. ’ a snap, unintentional, followed by a groan. the disappointment only being stopped as she felt his skin against hers. hand steadying her enough to bring her to her senses. before she could speak up again though, her dark eyes narrowed at him and it took everything in her not to slap him. relax a little. who did he think he was talking to. instead she pushed past him and moved to the bed, grabbing a pillow before sitting on the edge and letting her legs swing for a moment. kicking his suitcase in the process.
‘ i don’t wanna relax. i want you. your mind has been gone for days. and i get it. match. match. championship match. attacking raw. match. but now you’re going to be gone for weeks and i’ll be here, alone. without you. you didn’t even invite me to go with you? are you needing to get away from me that badly? i didn’t think i was driving you insane ... anymore.’
