“you’re too hard on yourself,” jiae answered immediately, shaking her head. “you say that as if you have severe acne or discoloration, but you have nice skin. really small pores. i’m envious,” she admitted, rolling her eyes. “the tattoos, though-- i’ll give you that one. i have no doubt it takes time and effort and skill to cover those up, so i mean....i guess i’ll trust you with my reputation. if i get in a scandal, though, it’s your responsibility-- as my boss, and the cause of the scandal, it’ll be your mess to clean up,” she laughed. “hmm, you’re right of course. of all countries to be born into, i’m both blessed and cursed to be born into this one, and the reason for both of those is you,” jiae teased. “that’s such a lie, yuji. i swear to god, i will pull up footage from the next episode, and i bet that your arm will be around my shoulders. you’ve always got a hand on me, be it a shoulder or knee. the cameras barely keep you at bay. though i will admit that sitting on set can get boring; especially since we aren’t competing.” jiae rolled her eyes. “you’re a pervert. i love you of course, and i don’t mind it, but you are. our poor team-- i’m thinking about how best to help them and set them up for success on the show, and here you are, thinking about the best way to get my clothes off when it’s all said and done. why are you like this?”

it was a bit of a weird feeling, being naked and sitting on the counter like that. the counter was pretty cold. the forever-analytical part of her brain figured it probably wasn’t super hygienic, but those thoughts didn’t last long, for all of the sudden, yuji was all over her, finger slipping into places, making jiae’s back arch and making her gasp. the arm that wasn’t gripping the side of the counter wrapped around yuji’s neck, holding her closer and hanging on for dear life.

“yuji, you wear the same makeup every day. your eyeliner game is great, as is your lipstick game, but that doesn’t make you good with makeup. not that you don’t always look gorgeous, because you do,” she added with a little smile. “i’m just saying-- just because you’ve perfected your personal routine doesn’t mean you can cover up any eventual hickies. though i agree-- i’d rather not get into scandal trouble. yet. someday i’d love for the world to know how much i love you, but i don’t think our country is quite there yet unfortunately.” jiae blushed crimson, smacking yuji’s shoulder. “i do not! you’re the one with the filthy mind. case and point-- you’re always trying to get my clothes off. always. and you’re reading too much into my neutral expression, you pervert,” she scoffed, flustered. she’d have to look in the mirror later. maybe she really did have fuck-me eyes and she just didn’t know it. that’d certainly be embarrassing.

though jiae didn’t totally expect to be picked up, she welcomed it, kissing yuji back and wrapping her arms around her girlfriend’s shoulders-- though it was in part because she wanted to be close to her, it was also because she really didn’t want to fall. yuji was strong, but also kind of caught up in the heat of the moment. once she was down on the counter, her hand rested against the side of the fridge as yuji explored, back arching when more sensitive spots were reached, urging yuji on. she pulled yuji back in for another kiss, muttering, “i love you too,” back, eyes fluttering shut.
