New banner for the blog!!

And I've settled on the name for my sprite comic that I've been doing all the spiriting for recently! The Lost Boy.

Which the main premise of which is that Asriel is the one who's missing, not Dess, meaning a much more different Kris and Noelle, along with a lot of other stuff that I'm so excited to do that I don't really know how to type this out.

Anyway! I've got a lot of spriting and admin stuff to do now, and I really hope this works out!

The Cliffs! Revamped and (currently getting) remapped!

I'm definitely going to be playing around with the verticality of this area when it comes to planning out pages, but before I can do that I've got Hometown to tackle. Between then and now there I might complete my new and improved (and hopefully final) Dess design!

Phoooeee this was one hell of a learning curve for me! And I know there's still a lot of tweaks that could be made, but right now I'm pretty pleased with this for a first attempt at doing rooms!

Mangrove trees are cool

Apologies for the lack of updates! I've been busy trying to make Noelles room, which means learning how to do furniture, perspective, scale and bunch of other stuff I don't really get just yet. And spriting this tree was something I've been wanting to do for a long time. It's cool finally being able to see it!

And Carol!

I'm particularly happy with her overworld sprite and it's outfit, cuz I feel like I actually managed to a do a nice job with costume design. I wanted something that had a bit more personality and splendour than the base sprite while still holding on to that frostiness. Originally her outfit was meant to look more like a kimono as a nod to the fact that she owns katanas, but that look kept changing as I bounced between this and remaking Dess' overworld sprite. So I just settled for something ornate and twirly.

Also, in the next few days I will be leaving behind my drawing tablet to go travelling so there'll prbly be one more sprite tomorrow followed by silence for a bit. Although... I have returned to an old fic, so that could be published if I finish it while on my adventures!

Toriel!

It's always pretty fun and easy when it comes to spriting goat monsters ALTHOUGH I really spent a bit too long doing these face sprites. I did consider doing Toriel at an angle (a bit like Ralsei two weeks ago) but the problem was that it distracted from my point of how tired Toriels eyes are supposed to look. I might change my mind but I got other stuff to do.

Gave him the cowl deal that the rudinns have. Though its kind of more like the collars that queen/king have, which is a nice little connection between them.

Susie face sprites

Weirdly enough, I'm kind of happy that I had a chance to redo a lot of my sprites and edit them as I went along. I have this problem of wanting to stick to doing stuff as similar to the vanilla sprites as possible cuz I'm nervous about doing my own thing proper and it not being as good. Which is pretty dumb considering I've been spriting for less than a year and this stuff is pretty awesome.

Next up should either be Berdly or Lancer.

Hey everyone, just as a heads-up, there probably isn't going to be any sprites being posted for the next week or so because... I just lost nearly all of the sprites I've made in the past month!! Yup! I got blessed with a lucky crash.

Thank god I posted at least of few of them on this blog, but I've still lost about 2/3ish of the total work I've done, and I can feel the pieces of my broken heart in my chest as I type this all out. It IS slightly funny that today was the day I was going to back up everything, but I just also want to cry right about now.

But hey, I guess this is just an opportunity to remake the older ones I did and make everything a bit more consistent.

Remember kids, backup your projects regularly and don't follow my example of laziness.
