“how does one even train in instruments?”
rvshea:
“exactly. it’s a wild ride from start to finish, watching them grow from their debut.”
“like a good reality tv show.”
marsrv:
“i mean, i’d sure hope so. otherwise we’ll fuckin flop.”
“i sincerely doubt you’ll flop.”
rvxinyi:
“oh! i see; so you do want to debut and get popular one day, but you don’t feel ready right now? that makes more sense. i was concerned for you for a second there.”
“yeah no i....i don’t think i’m ready to debut yet. i need a lot more training.”
rvryder:
“perhaps. though when you do debut, won’t the intimidation be gone then?”
“i don’t know. i don’t think so.”
rvshea:
“oh definitely, i don’t know about you but i’m always on the edge of my seat when new groups spring up out of nowhere with no already known trainees.”
“me too. it’s like...so much untapped undiscovered talent.”
marsrv:
“yep. i’m third last to be revealed.”
“you’ll be revealed to a big following, no?”
rvsiwan:
“That… actually makes sense.”
“i’ve been known to make sense every once in a while.”
shrinesrv:
“I can’t say I can blame you, I didn’t exactly want to be an idol either when I was sixteen. Maybe you’ll decide that’s what you want to do forever, but there’s nothing wrong with also deciding you don’t.”
“i know. i also just feel like i’d be letting everyone down if i quit, though.”
rvsiwan:
“But– that’s the whole point of the trainee program, isn’t it? They’re getting your name out there so that once you debut you’ll already have a following.”
“yeah, but not as big of a following as i would if it were a real debut. it’s kind of....i see it as easing me into it. one step at a time. baby steps.”
rvchae:
“so does mirae do upkeep for you, then?”
“she definitely helps.”
rvryder:
“i mean, aren’t you already popular being a big three trainee and being in idol project? surely this just adds to your popularity…”
“i guess. but it’s not as intimidating as a real debut.”
rvshea:
“part of me wishes these types of trainee programs were a thing before i debuted, but i’m glad there was still a thing of mystery about who i was when i debuted. it added to the nostalgia.”
“and there’s more anticipation for the debut and member reveals, i feel.”
marsrv:
“march.”
“oh...that’s a ways away yet.”
shrinesrv:
“You learn to get used to it, don’t worry.”
“i don’t even know if i wanna get used to it...”
rvxinyi:
“Do you not want to get popular? If that’s the case, you might be in training for the wrong occupation - no offence. It’s just, that usually comes with a career in the public eye?”
“even if i’m not ready right now, doesn’t mean i never will be.”
hyeranrv:
“it’s never too late to learn.”
“where’d i’d find the time?”
