“What?!” He gasped releasing her arm

“Doesn’t make any sense!”

Arctic stepped back confused, he didn’t have any idea what was going on, what had Orianna been keeping from him or was it simply this woman was a lair trying to get in his head.

“ I-I’m sorry… Arctic..” Suddenly she drops the sword, letting it fall on the glacier mountain until it fell on the ground. In that moment, everything happened so fast, Liana was now up in the air, being strangled by Orianna’s hand.

“ Ack… H-here’s… another… s-secret.. she’s b-been keeping from you… Arctic”

Orianna’s whole appearance completely changed again, her blue eyes were no more. They were now golden and staring up at Liana with a sinister look. Her blue combat outfit now turning into complete black. This girl that looked like Orianna was now strangling Liana to death.

“ C-can’t…. e-even kill me y-yourself O-oria—g-aahhh!” She caught her breath, feeling her source of oxygen slowly dissipating. “ A-asking…. the relic…f-for… h-help…”

Arctic jumped back in surprise raising his staff across his chest, he didn’t even see her pull Lianna out of the ground. This was the power that was unleahed on him they might they met he thought, did she use this power on Ember too? “Who was she?” He thought, who was this new person stood in front of him, was this why Ember wanted Arctic to kill her? Because she was too much of a threat?

Arctic lunched forward and sliced at Oriannas arm, not expecting it to chop her arm out but at the very least release Lianna and lower Oriannas aura

His staff made impact but it ricocheted off, bouncing out of his hand and rolling down the mound of ice they had created. The sound the staff has made on impact sounded like a hammer hitting metal.

Arctic stepped backward, defenceless and staring into the golden eyes.

Arctic turned to Orianna confused “what is she talking about” he said as if it was one big word. He took a step closer and put a hand on the arm that was gripping the sword.

Orianna flinched for a moment feeling Arctic’s arm pressing up onto her sword. “… I have to kill her..”

“ What else, Orianna.. Come on.. Arctic’s here already you might as well tell him the truth and stop hiding everything from him. Why do you need to kill me? Who am I really? Come on… tell him..”

Orianna’s hand that Arctic held started to shake, she couldn’t do it. She can’t let Arctic see this side of her but he was here now. Liana was spewing out the truth and Orianna couldn’t keep up the facade anymore.

“.. Arctic… do you… really want to know?” She asks quietly.

“OF COURSE HE WANTS TO KNOW ORIANNA! “ Liana snaps. “ You’ve been hiding so many things about yourself that can bring his demise.. Just fucking tell him that I AM YOU!”

Arctic trailed behind Orianna his arms by his side and staff in his hand. He was surprised how easy the fight had been. Arctic walked up behind Orianna seeing the sword in her hand “what are you going to do” he said calmly

Liana shivered, looking up at Arctic now with a smirk and she turned to Orianna who seemed to have frozen in her movement. “ … Tell him Orianna.. tell him what you do… when you defeat me like this…”

Orianna pressed the sword up Liana’s chin, causing a small trickle of blood from her neck. She couldn’t do this now, not when Arctic is here. 

“ TELL HIM ORIANNA! SHOW ARCTIC HOW MUCH OF A MONSTER YOU ARE BY KILLING ME EVERY CHANCE YOU GET!”
