Why are people shaming others for liking the HTTYD live action 😭 It’s just the original movie in real life, and theres something important I want to talk about.

I've seen many say, “Astrid is Black!!” First of all, Astrid doesn’t exist. Who cares. Second, Nico Parker is mixed race and has played white characters. She’s an actor. That’s the job. If casting ruins it for you, revisit what storytelling is really about

It’s a movie about DRAGONS. You think it’s gonna be Viking-accurate?

If Viking accuracy mattered, where were your complaints about the horned helmet myth that they played into, or the American kids with Scottish parents even though Vikings come from Scandinavian roots? It’s a kids' movie about a 15-year-old bonding with a sky reptile. Let's not pretend Viking accuracy is what kept people hooked.
