tumblr is so fucking funny from the pov of other apps. over on youtube they think they're so much better than us but half the shit they watch is just our posts but with brainrot in the background because apparently they can't read over there. on pinterest, the only type of post that exceeds tumblr screenshots is AI art, and they seem to be kind of scared of us? like "yeah tumblr is a horrifying place full of crazy people who just sit around all day reading smut and getting into the most insane situations irl". twitter hates us because they know they aren't us and never will be us. tiktok is divided between people who think we're lower than trash and people who think we're some sort of elite club that you have to study hard to get into, have a perfect blog, and followers are necessary for survival. like what. none of any of these people have ever been onto this website im pretty sure

they all fail to realize that the true essence of tumblr is just hundreds of raccoons in individual garbage cans occasionally tossing various trash to each other and snickering about it
