this is where the story begins I've set up the lore so now ill be posting the actual story of what's happening
He looked around, soft smiling faces surrounded it. Its body felt lethargic, soft to the touch as if it was ready to fall apart at any moment. Yet great strength coursed through his bones. Sluggishly he lifted himself floating to alleviate his body.
âHello little one, can you speak?âÂ
âWho- Who are you?â his voice came out soft and warbly like a new chick trying to squeak, wait how did he know that?
âHm, we will need a name for ourselves so that they may speak to us,â a voice rang out.
âBut with our plans they could easily be misinterpreted.â
âAgreed,â affirmations rang out like crazed whispers.
âYou may call us Witches' little one.â
The cookie frowned as the meaning of the word was drilled into his head, but the more he thought about it the more he couldn't connect it to what he was seeing. âIn that case what am I? Who am I?â
âLittle one you are the Fount of Knowledge, a Virtue, and one of the first few we have created to guide our world to fruition.â
There was chuckling filling the air and a murmur of affirmations ringing out once more. Time seemed to speed up as he watched the other virtues be made. Sugar of Happiness, Saint of Volition, Herald of Change, and Warrior of Solidarity.
The Fount of Knowledge watched as they awoke, they were slow and took longer to gain their bearings and had more difficulty understanding what the Witches were saying. Were they inferior to him? Or is it because he embodied knowledge?
âThere, now say hello to your new friends, Fount,â one of the Witches spoke up.
He nodded floating down to them staring at each of them taking in their appearance. âGreetings, it is an honor to meet you.â
He bowed lightly and the others matched his movement. He could tell by the look on their faces they didn't know what to think of this either, he could tell they knew they had a purpose, but it was all still so new to them that it overshadowed them.
Almost in an instant they were teleported, the bright sky illuminating onto their skin.
Saint looked into the sky, the light burning her eyes forcing her to close them slightly. âWhere are we?â The grass rustled under her feet as she walked.
âThe Witches world,â Fount spoke up using his staff to help stabilize his floating. âThey called it Earth.â
There was a deep breath as Herald filled his massive chest. âWhat beauty and it is not even filled yet.â He stepped forward next to them staring out into the vastness, a twinkle in his eyes.
âWhat a nice beginning, so much to do, so much to bring,â a soft smile crossed Sugarâs lips as she joined the group.
The Knight stepped forward as well, nodding along as he planted his sword into the ground standing like a statue.
âYouâre right, there's so much to do!â he smiled lightly. âWe will lead them into righteousness.â Even as he said it a pit formed in his stomach, the vastness of this land, the likely diverse people, could they truly make an impact on its inhabitants?
Fount walked through the empty spire, holding his key staff close to his chest. âItâs quite emptyâŚâ he paused. âAnd quite small⌠compared to the others.â
There was soft laughter filling the air from the Witches' voices. âYes it is small, but that is because of your power.â
âMy power?â He raised an eyebrow.
âTap the souljam on your staff, until you can learn to tap into it without touching. This is the best way to access it.â
Fount lightly tapped the crystal on his staff a surge of energy flowed into his hand, gasping he clenched and unclenched his hand feeling the power bottle up and itching to be released. Touching the walls blackâs, blueâs, and goldâs filled the area. Following along he watched the inside change to vast rooms filled with anything he could possibly need.
Saint of Volition walked through the mountain tops wondering why the Witches would place her so high up. There were stairs of course, but to travel up these stairs would surely give some poor soul a heart attack.
âYou do not seem happy Saint?â the voice rang out into the air.
âNo, I am grateful Witches, this gift is far too kind,â she spoke softly, her mind wandering over the vast expanse of the area. She will need to set someone at the halfway point to make sure they can get up to her. âI was not expecting such a high point for those to visit me.â
âThat is because you will play an important role, to grant wishes to those who visit you so the land may be populated with new things.â
Herald walked around the temple grounds, blank walls, how very dull, he would need to fix that quickly. He could see there were spaces to put artwork so he supposed he would put them there.
âIs everything okay Herald, you have been very quiet.â The voice continued. âIf you wish you wield the power of change you can make it look however you want.â
âQuite, I am beginning my plans and how I will decorate this temple.â he lied, continuing his exploration of the temple, changing aspects here and there now knowing it would not be rude.
Sugar looked at the vast expanse of her garden, the beauty of it filling her with reverence, âFor me?â she whispered, flying over it.
âOf course, Sugar, you shall grant great happiness here to all cookies who seek it,â the voice spoke softly as it followed her.
âThere is so much to do, so much joy to bring,â a soft but worried smile crossed her face.
âWarrior, are you listening?â the voice rang out to the knight.
The warrior looked up at the church. His eyes analyzed the details of the stained glass.
âOkay⌠as the wielder of solidarity you will need to fight alongside your friends and protect our creations from many threats.â
âOkay,â was all he said as he stepped into the church laying his sword on the alter the sitting on the steps.
