Liv looked at him once he started apologising, puckering her lips a little. “Stop apologising for no reason.” she commented.
‘’ alright i’m sorry-- shit.’’ ryder grumbled, smacking his forehead. ‘’ did you want to stick around at all and hang out ??’’

“I don’t have an attitude problem,” she protested, before she made a grimace at his following words. “You’re cutting me off? You can’t cutt me off, I’m a free woman with my own rights and- hey! Don’t close the doors!” she stood up, pacing back to open them and leave. “I just thought I’d ask.. y’know, good manners and whatnot. I’m leaving now.”
ryder shrugs and he throws his hands up. ‘’i guess nothing changes there you go. you didn’t know about sticking around back then, and you obviously don’t know about it now.’’ ryder motions her to go to the door, only shrugging in response. ‘’so go. leave-- that’s what you seem to do best bex.’’

“Right - I forgot about your lil’, eh, attitude problem,” she commented, hiccuping for a moment. She was too busy studying the objects on his nightstand to actually pay attention to what he was saying - yet alone the way he was looking at her. “Drunk?” she turned to face him, laughing once she heard the question. “Nah, I’m not. I only had like… twelve shots of tequila so far. I’m fiiiine,” she assured, giving him a thumbs up while making her way over to his bed to sit down. “What are you doing here alone anyway?”
‘’ this coming from you know, the one who has an attitude problem herself. ‘’ ryder says amusingly, brows raising as he surveys her more carefully. ‘’ yeah-- your drunk. and while i’m at it, i’m cutting you off for the night. ‘’ hopping off his desk, ryder makes his way to the door and shuts it before turning to her. ‘’ finishing up some work. why ?? ‘’

“ Rocky.” she replied, letting out a sigh as she crossed her hands over her chest. “Great, then you can’t help me.”
‘’ yeah-- i’m sorry. ‘’ smoothing out the shirt he had put on, he looked to her. ‘’ i don’t know where he’s at. i’m sorry again..’’

It has been a typical frat house party that friday night where Bex made an appearance with a couple of her sorority sisters, mingling around downstairs until she had gotten a terrible urge to pee - which led her upstairs. She searched through the rooms - once even stumbling upon two people having sex, until she barged into Ryder’s. She completely forgot he lived here too; which was no surprise considering how much she had to drink. Her dark eyes locked themselves onto his figure; staring at him for a moment until he spoke - which caused her to step back. “ - whoa. Remove your claws, kitty.” she rose her hands up in the air, one still holding a glass of wine she was previously drinking. “Don’t be rude to your guests, it’s not polite.”
‘’ NEWSFLASH: i’m rude to everyone. ‘’ ryder raises a brow, placing his hands on his desk as he leans forward slightly. his eyes never leave her frame-- watching her movements almost carefully. ‘’ why the hell ar yo..’’ trailing off, he pauses and tilts his head moving from the other side of the desk to the front where he could have a better look at her. he sits on the desk casually, almost studying her amusingly. ‘’ are you DRUNK ?? ‘’

“Nope, raised by wolves, can’t you tell?” The brunette plopped herself down into the nearest chair. “I’m bored. I need entertainment.”
‘’ what form of entertainment do you think you’ll be able to get from me ?? ‘’ ryder questions, moving to adjust the wraps on his hands to avoid her gaze. ‘’ i’m a little busy.’’

“ One of the boys.” she replied, placing her hands on her hips. “Are you the only one here?”
SLIPPING on a hoodie to make himself look somewhat decent, ryder zipped it up and turned to her with a curious look. ‘’ who exactly ?? and yeah, i’m.. the only one here.’’
RYDER was sitting at his desk, drawing a design for his engineering class. when he heard the door open to his room, he literally paid no attention-- thinking it had been one of the guys from the fraternity. ‘’ hey dude, i’ll be out in like a minute or two-- can you just..’’ and when he finally looked up, he felt his heart sink into the pit of his stomach and stood up immediately. ‘’get the fuck out of my room.’’

‘’ Right, of course.” she shoke her head, letting out a small chuckle before extending her hand to shake his. “I’m Emma. It’s nice to meet you,” she added, flashing him a smile. “Oh.. really? You’d stay outside with me? But it’s freezing, and I’m sure your friends are all waiting for you to come back inside and I’d hate to stall you.”
when she says it’s freezing he shrugs off his jacket and moves to wrap it around her shoulders, making sure she was comfortable before stepping back. ‘’i uh-- i’m sorry if that freaks you out or anything but.. i mean, you wouldn’t be stalling me at all. if you don’t like the party atmosphere we can stay out here. it’s all good, i mean that.’’

“I thought this was someone elses room. So sorry.” she mumbled as she looks back at the boy. “Oh..is that you Ryder? Ryder Mitchell. Do you remember me? Josie Popper?”
‘’yeah, it’s me.’’ ryder stares at josie, remaining quiet till it hits him. ‘’ i haven’t seen you since high school. it’s uh-- good seein’ you. how’ve you been lately ?? ‘’

“Doll? I’ve never heard anyone use that anymore.” She chuckles, watching him sit next to her. “Bummer, i was really enjoying that view. Oh well, good thing about it i can look at it anytime you are walking by so i’m good now knowing that.”
‘’you OBVIOUSLY haven’t met me yet. ‘’ ryder shrugs as he looks to her, eyebrows raising slightly. ‘’ you haven’t wined and dined me yet, and you’re still showering me with compliments. you are TOO kind.’’

“Wait! You mean to tell me, this isn’t my room!?” Ava gasped in mock surprise. She had absolutely gone in there because of the view. “I am ever so sorry.” She admitted, though, her eyes drank in his appearance as she watched him.
‘’ no, it’s.. NOT.’’ he says as he moves to grab his shirt, slowly putting it on. ‘’ i’m sure you are sorry, i mean-- i just..’’ trailing off, ryder smoothed out his shirt and only shrugged in response. ‘’shit happens, i suppose.’’
