Tempting Danger

My third mermaid commission for this year’s Mermay event is here! Meet one of my wonderful friends, Eszter, whom I “cast” into a mermaid form. Her request was to base the “fish” part on a black orchid color variant of a crowntail betta — and as an aquarist, I absolutely loved this challenge. 🤩 It’s also a special joy that I managed to finish this gothic beauty on World Goth Day! 🖤
