i know you’re inactive so this is really a shot in the dark if you ever answer, and if you do thank u so much,,,
i always have been obsessed with dreams vivid and lucid that type of stuff but i struggle with it. any advice?? ❤️🩹❤️🩹
Thank you sm for being so thoughtful and for the wonderful question <3 I was and still am horribly inactive yet I just checked my asks, and this one has been sitting for a while.
I wanted to talk about mastering your dreams for such a long time since I would argue I'm far more experienced in that arena, dreams are A GATEWAY TO LITERALLY EVERYTHING, the dream realm is your actual playground (for ST fans, you gotta activate the 001 inside of you, we are all literally Henry, idk why some people keep saying ST is pure fiction, uhm no? You make up your own reality and I made mine) utilizing it for the benefit of this reality or others is genius behavior, and I really hope more people take interest in this subject (thank you again anon), I would yap for centuries and I'd rather write a full on post going through my process of inducing and handling every type of dream + how we should cultivate and use this ability to manifest/shift/astral project/seek guidance or simply script for our drs (tapping into your dr memories through dreams, very ST like), but I don't know if it'll be too much for some people? Especially since Im more on the spiritual wo wo side of things, when I post these types of posts, please take what resonates leave what doesn't <3
The most spontaneous type ever, and it took me a hot minute to figure them out, but once you do they can become a sweet spot to getting lucid (like I do) IMAGINE MAKING BOTH TYPES YOUR SERVANTS!! don't worry they're pretty easy to motion the second you find the hang of it, for me it was that I found out, the moment i give something a tiny bit of attention, I dream of it at night, bingo, I need to regulate my attention
I monitor my thoughts, let's say I wanna vividly dream of my dr at night, I wanna remember how my life was pre debut for example, then that's what I'll be thinking about, talking about ALL DAY, I manifested being able to dream of anything I want by simply thinking of it, and believe me it's not some grandiose thing, I literally brainwashed my whole existence and directed my thoughts to one single thing at a time, not with the intention of dreaming of it, but because this is me sending signals to my mind "keep this, we need it later, you're obviously gonna show it to me later right?"
The monitoring thing worked so fast that it was scary (i started it in August, we're nearing the end of May and this made me remember and dream of whatever it is that I want countless times, even when i don't even want to dream of something, i just think and it manifests, thats how i shifted to eat pancakes btw, lucid dream to another reality, sonic speed) me and my bff made this into a huge inside joke, whenever we talk about a certain thing, I dream of it, two days ago I was talking about a certain fear I had regarding my personal life, I was also listening to a song from one of my favorite childhood movies, I dreamt of the fear, the people involved, the movie AND THE SONG, all in one setting, and the way it all made so much sense!!! I remember every detail vividly and I took that dream as a conformation dream (yes I have a dream classification KEEP A DREAM JOURNAL RN)
The time doesn't really matter since once you start having vivid dreams, you're never going back because your mind understood the que, so sleeping at any time would def give you vivid dreams depending on each person (im generalizing but whenever i go to sleep i at least have one or two vivid dreams per night, i tend to wake up A LOT during my sleep and i use those windows to either shift or turn lucid by continuing that vivid dream and slowly imposing myself in it) BUT studying your sleep cycle is another piece of advice i hope someone gave before, the deep sleep phase is the most important to note for me in terms of having a clear vivid dream, Im not very knowledgeable about it yet, but all I know is studying the hours your mind take jumping from one phase to another is GOLD, as a med student I highly highly recommend it especially for working with vivid dreams
Choose the time when you're most likely to turn lucid fast, I call it "the hazy hour" and it's typically when I'm really tired, i just woke up and want to go back to bed, or when i feel like i want to nap, I SWEAR BY THIS, I almost never turn lucid around my sleeping time, I don't shift that often around that time either, choose a time frame where you're relaxed and your guards are down but your mind is still up!!
I'll say intending is important, but now that I lucid dream on a daily basis without even thinking about it beforehand, throw Intention out of the window, you need to train your mind on turning lucid on its own, crazy I know but trust me it's so so worth it, I was doing this unconsciously for years and was going around saying "I've been lucid dreaming ever since I was a little girl, it's my gift" no babe you trained your mind restlessly, my mind thinks it's the norm, I want to explain this further but if I had to summerize it : saturate the shit out of your mind, every dream you have even if it's a hollow black screen, treat it like you won a marathon, build worlds from it, make it a fixation, understand it even if it's nonsense, and if you don't remember it, force your mind to retrieve fragments and make them your whole freaking world, the more you obsess = the more your mind will think it's important and will pay attention to those kinds of dreams more often = they can easily turn lucid later
Then, start step by step, imposing yourself in those dreams, I'm sure there are too many techniques already, your mind will give you clues (it thinks its important remember?), I was 6, I didn't know techniques, what I knew was it was MY WORLD, it was my PLAYGROUND "Im gonna close my eyes now and play around with everything as if i were in a movie" that's how I shifted for the first time too, oopsie, all of this meant that Ive unconsciously convinced myself I had the fullest control, because i did, no invisible resistance no doubts, just pure delusion that became my reality, treat the dream realm as your playground, I usually start by having a vivid dream, and because my mind is already fully saturated, it knows what to do when im motioning through the dream it wakes me up mid scene : "wait I'm dreaming, muhahaha, okay yall times up, I need to remake the whole scene and get rid of some things ASAP"
WRITE DOWN YOUR DREAMS I BEG OF YOU, if you don't like writing them down, TALK TALK TALK, I used to alter TV shows whole trajectory in my dreams, wake up and tell my sister about how I made up my own show and it's ten times better than the original (which can tell you all you need to know about how I discovered shifting), it'll go for hours, and we both enjoyed SCRIPTING, she'll ask for more eps and I'll tell her as soon as I woke up, that made my mind memorize every detail and use it later for the upcoming times I turned lucid, fucking remarkable.
Fuck routines, but make sure to do this regularly, remember it's the unconscious vs the conscious war, you need a very lazer focused supportive vessel, now that I do it everyday out of pure boredom, that line between the two is almost non existent, and you can easily get there
One thing I also noticed, and i would say it's the deal breaker, I kind of paraded myself to be this master at lucid + vivid dreaming for years, I'll tell my friends and family my dreams are magical and that they're my safe place, I wholeheartedly believed that even when i don't dream or fall asleep immediately with no memory whatsoever, I'm still magical, thats because I kind of never truly noticed those times? I was always focused on how I'm "gifted" and a literal natural at it that I didn't even notice the times "I've failed in" = it became my actual reality, MANIFESTED THE ME WHO DID THIS WITH A 99.9% SUCCESS RATE
I hope you find these useful i tried keeping them short and straightforward, I PROMISE IM GONNA BE BACK WITH SO MANY NEW POSTS DOCUMENTING MY ACTUAL EXPERIENCES for everyone to understand the approach throughly, I'm in my "lost between realities" era and life is keeping me so busy (I'm grateful) but I will be back soon <3
How I be moving in the dream realm and how you should be too:
