Been quite busy!

(Sorry for vanishing, but I have a good reason.

I’ve been drawing a bunch of stuff for Ryoni. Building a website for his comic, and drawing up some nice bio pics for the main cast. I even have his first comic strip finished. I’ll share it soon, but I’d like to get a few more finished first. I also redid his design so he fits in better with the rest of the characters. I’ll share that too, but after I get more done on his second comic.

Thanks again for sticking around everyone. I really do appreciate it a whole lot!)

Gavino Morandi

Gavino (“Gavi” to his friends) is a 25 year old male finx.

He stands just over 6 feet tall, not including his ears.

Gavino is a very pampered and somewhat snobby finx with incredible wealth. Gavi was the only child born to his mother, Roselina, and his father, Sergio. Both of his parents come from centuries old bloodlines of exquisite pedigree. As such, he was raised believing himself to truly be superior to all others due to his breeding and his family’s vast fortune. This mindset was supported by his rare red and black fur. His coloration hadn’t been seen in his family for almost 200 years.

After meeting Ryoni, his attitude has changed for the better. Though still not ideal, he’s much friendlier for interacting with Ryoni for so long. The two have been good friends since they met at Gavi’s parents’ Summer home close to Ryoni’s village in the mountain foothills.

Gavi earns his living as an opera performer, often having to travel for his performances. With all the hard work and training that goes into his voice and acting, he appreciates downtime more than most. One of his favorite things to do is have a long soak in the tub after especially taxing performances. Usually with a large amount of bubble bath just for good measure.

As a performer, he’s seen often. So his appearance is very important to him. He spends time every morning carefully grooming his fur to perfection and uses a selection of fine oils for his skin and fur during baths. He has a strict physical training regimen to maintain his physique as well. Not only does he look impressive, but his workouts have the benefit of strengthening his diaphragm. He’s come to quite enjoy his physical training as a result.

Despite personality flaws, he’s not that hard to get along with. One needs patience and to be quick about calling him out on bad behavior. Once overcome, he’s actually a very good friend and quite pleasant to be around.

“Thank you for the advice, Mole Knight. I’ll be sure to be careful. I certainly don’t want to overstep any boundaries here, or upset anyone… Then no one’s happy.” he said. “I hope I can meet some of the other knights in your order, but I guess I’ll have to see what happens.”

Mole Knight took a moment to ponder.

“Well, I maybe could lead you to King Knight but I cannot promise you he will be interested of meeting you. Please don’t take it personally.” He chuckled nervously.

“Otherwise, I suppose I could show you around some. At least the places near the Volcano. I mean, you did say you are a traveller! Hehehehehehe”

“Heeheehee! Well thank you, Mole Knight. That’s really great of you to offer. I don’t wanna bother King Knight though if it might be trouble to see him.”, he said. Last thing he wanted was to be a nuisance. “I’d be thrilled to see more of your territory though, if it’s no trouble. This area is really nice.”, he said.

Spirus passes through a small town,feeling lost he decides to ask for help.He crosses his fingers hoping the language barrier won't be an issue as he approaches a furry looking guy with a long white tail."Excuse me."

Ryoni was just rounding up something to snack on from the local flora when he heard someone behind him. Curiosity piqued, he dropped what he was doing and turned around to speak with the newcomer. “Oh! Hello there. I’m Ryoni. How can I help you?” he said.

Ryoni smiled wide once he noticed the extra pancake. “Thank you so much! That’s so nice of you.” he said. Laying the napkin across his lap he began eating too. He did notice Spirus, but he thought nothing of it. He sometimes forgot his manners too. He was perfectly content as he worked on his big fluffy pancake dinner.

Spirus finishes his meal,pulling out their wallet for the meal.He’d come back again it really was satisfying. “I am stuffed,I’m coming here again in the future.”

“Oh ya. They folks here seem really friendly too.”, Ryoni said as he ate another bite of his pancakes. He couldn’t help but smile ear to ear as he enjoyed the setting of the restaurant. “This place reminds me a lot of my home. My village is really quiet like this too. Feels like everyone knows each other too.”
