recently rewatched phm w friends who hadn't seen it before & yeah. it has some really good emotional moments + i love stratt however. the core of the story revolves around ryland grace who is a character that yes is compelling but unfortunately also Deeply Annoying to me, and not even in a fun way.

Rereading all systems red and the first 2 chapters are strong contenders for funniest intro to a book series. Jumping straight to action, and mb is giving us absolutely no info about anything.
