Let yourself be in the moment.
nano is cooking with poisons and five is trying to eat the poisons
…That tracks. Miss Sounds is a witch in her own right, and Five is.. well, Five.
Feel the realisation that tranquility doesn’t suit you anymore.

Odd how time moves too quick when it is timed against you
Say- we never found out what the treasure was!! Dang it! Now you cant be rich and get cool gifts for your friends
Her greatest treasure isn’t material, small one. It is.. a connection.
A second chance does not denote forgiveness- It is grace.
Do you think the pirate can ever change?
Do you think that will ever be known if we don’t give her a chance?
Four. Step outside. Just you, and don’t try anything.

Alright...I'll trust ya. At the very least you haven't gone and chopped my head off, or hurt my crew.
The mage's blade was firmly in his grip. His gaze was levelled- as was the point which was aimed towards the pirate. You've battered, beaten, and harmed me and my friends. You mutilated me, kidnapped a dear friend of mine, and attempted to feed me to a sea monster. How can I know that you're not going to pillage and bring ruin upon my friends once more?
Her eye glances at the mage, once, twice, watching for any sudden change in movement. Her trust in his restraint is all she has.
You'll have to take me on my word is the short answer. The longer one is the sea witch threatened me too, and I cannot leave here until she is dealt with in a way that gets her off my back. I'm willin' to work with ya, Rythian. But I know you aren't willin' either, none of yer crew is. There's nothing here worth pillaging anyways!
You got my word, I won't bring harm or pillage any of ya, long as you don't go after me. You swing, I swing back harder, understand?
His restraint being the only thing keeping the blade at her neck from pushing closer, his eyes were narrowed with a healthy amount of skepticism.
I believe that was the supposed deal struck last time we chased you away. And then you came back. And you tried to get me killed. Why would I believe you?
I would have kept my promise if not for the sea witch threating what's precious to me. That is the only reason why I am here. What else do I got right now other than my word? Not like I can bribe you with jewels, I don't think any of that would interest you anyways. I don't want trouble following me when I go off to make my own space here.
She sighs, shaking her head. Patience was one of her stronger suits, but she was nearing the edge of her rope, how long had it been? She needed to get back. Just to get what she needed.
I know. But clearly… your word means nothing. So I cannot trust your word, nor will your bribery. suffice. So that leaves me with only one option-
Around the mage, the small Faceless Ones swarmed. They whispered warnings in his ears, hushed and multi-toned. He shakes his head firmly, and tightens his grip on the hilt.
I’m a man of my word, so listen closely pirate. If you do anything to harm my friends again? I’m not going to hold back next time. Or- in simpler terms.
Try anything again, and I won’t hesitate next time. Understand?
Course my word would mean nothing...it's a deal. My acts of violence aren't random, mage. Let that be known, I don't seek to harm for fun. My sisters may think otherwise, as well as your companions. If you can at least tell them to leave me the fuck alone that would be grand.
She hesitates, but holds out a hand. For a moment her expression softens into something grateful, something kind.
I appreciate this, more than you know, Rythian.
Slowly… the blade lowers, and is sheathed once more. His expression stays the same, skeptical yet neutral. After a long moment, the hand leaves the hilt of the blade and shakes hers.
I think I know exactly how much it is appreciated. Now- run along. We would hardly wish for your.. sister, to find your precious cargo. Take your pirates with you.
The past seeps like a curse through the blood, threatening to pull you around like a marionette unless you allow yourself to look to the future.
nothing vanishes without a trace.
Four. Step outside. Just you, and don’t try anything.

If we're talking arm for an arm, then it we would need to look at what Five did to you in just. stabbing you. Or Lalna in. Everything. Eye for an eye hasn't always worked well in the past...but look at where you are now with them
I’m-… I know that. I know that. I’m not going to do anything extreme.
Four. Step outside. Just you, and don’t try anything.

Eye for an eye? Maybe take an arm, for insurance.
An eye for an eye… are you sure?
