Spell for Emotional Healing and Moving Forward

Cast this spell at dawn.

Materials:

one white candle (for purity and strength) in the middle

one pink candle (for spiritual help) at the right

one blue candle (for cleansing of the self) at the left

As you light each candle (starting from the middle, then right, then the left), say:

This is the turning point in my life. I am erasing the past. The future is mine to choose. Right at this moment, I am making my tomorrows. I forgive myself for all past mistakes. I start over with a clean slate. I choose for myself only that which I desire to experience. I choose (health, wealth, companionship, happiness, etc.) As I will it, so it shall be.

Extinguish the candles.

Self Love Bath

It’s important to remember that you are loved. By the most important person there is: you, of course! If you need a little help with the loving-yourself part, this bath will definitely do the trick.

2 Parts Epsom Salts

1 Part Himalayan Pink Salt

3 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

1 Scoop of Coconut Oil

Optional: A handful or lavender buds or pink rose petals

Draw your bath at the temperate you like best. Epsom salts will help relax your muscles while the coconut oil softens your skin. Let the aromatherapeutic benefits of lavender lighten you, and the pastel pink himalayan salt will hold in warmth and happiness. What can I say? You’re lovable!

Mend My Heart Spell

Recently, I’ve had a string of heartbreaks and decided to do something about it. So, I made a spell! And unlike my usual spells which are generally jar spells, I decided to be a bit craftier this time and sew my own “heart”. (Don’t judge me on the shape, I’m still learning how to sew!)

What you’ll need is some herbs and crystals that you associate with emotional healing, strength, and love. You can use powdered herbs but I would not recommend it because this is not as secure a method as a jar!

Get your ingredients together and get a red or pink fabric. I used felt because it’s cheap and easy to find, but whatever floats your boat.

Cut out two hearts from that fabric and sew them most of the way together. I used black thread for this to represent protection but you can use any color you like. Then, flip the heart inside out so that the stitches are on the inside. Fill it up with your ingredients, then sew the rest of the heart so it’s secure. For this part, I used pink thread to represent emotional healing.

And that’s it! Feel free to charge with rose quartz and/or a pink candle if you would like.

Thyme

(Thymus vulgaris) Safe to interact with.

Magical Uses: Thyme is burned to attract good health and is also worn for this purpose. It is also used in healing spells. Placed beneath the pillow, it ensures restful sleep and a pleasant lack of nightmares. Worn, thyme aids in developing psychic powers, and women who wear a sprig of thyme in the hair make themselves irresistible. Thyme is also a purificatory herb; the Greeks burned it in their temples to purify them and so thyme is often burned prior to magical rituals to cleanse the area. In spring a magical cleansing bath composed of marjoram and thyme is taken to ensure all the sorrows and ills of the past are removed from the person. Thyme is also carried and smelled to give courage and energy. If you wear it you will be able to see fairies.
