Yin & Yang, Master & Servant by Chika [DON’T remove]
Some people come into your life just to teach you how to let go.
Reyna Biddy (via purplebuddhaquotes)
it can be difficult to identify or accept our pluto nature. sometimes this energy can materialise as pure destruction, often reflecting the deep internal transformations that are taking place. but it’s not like you get told that this is happening. self-provoked events can seem morbidly fatalistic, like it was generated by some outward force or some other person. pluto acts on unconscious impulse, so it can produce behaviour in us that seems uncharacteristic, relentlessly self-destructive, or like being taken over by something. we follow the invisible currents of pluto like some sort of compulsion that doesn’t seem to belong to anything. pluto is the infinite part in us, so we are also carrying past lives and our spiritual evolutions so it can make the experience even more evasive. important to remember that you cannot regress with pluto. it takes a long time, pluto doesn’t move quickly. it’s hard for us to see this change because we see and know ourselves everyday, we can’t see the incremental transformations that have been taking place. but when you look back at your life and solitary self-reflection, you can see how the path aligned, and how you got to where you are today and how you wouldn’t change anything
Moon in the 6th house - Delicate Dressings
The Mother Goddess lends her lunar light to Moon in the 6th. From behind the shadows of the moon, ceremonies with the earth take place in the form of daily ritual and offerings. The individual is nourished through providing emotional support, solace, and restoration. There is dependency with Moon in the 6th. But it can be dependance on being depended on by other people. She can feel easily indispensable when nobody is there to love, advise, soothe, and lean on her for safety. It’s important for the individual to have daily work involving human interaction, sensitivity, and the promise of security. It’s possible that the type of work involves working with women, or on behalf of women and young children. She may be following the footsteps of the mother she never felt good enough for. She may also inherit her anxieties, health and dietary pattern, and problems with body image. The individual reads emotional cues with intuition and intellectual observation. She takes note of body language, eye contact, everything said and everything left unsaid. Intuition tells her when someone is distressed or trying to hide something. She can sense emotional experiences inside people that they long to share, but cannot find the right words for. She can help people find the right words so they can feel the weight of pain, fear, and horror rise from the inside and into oblivion like she is raising the moon in ancient ritual.
Moon in the 6th is like a hypnotic emotional sedative. She can put people’s restless and disturbed emotions to sleep. The individual is nonjudgemental, because she can see the wounds and experiences that trigger people to behave in certain ways. She opens herself up to let other people’s feelings in, she bears this weight and relieves their distress. This is the cosmic nurse at the hospice of heartbreak. She takes care of people like a natural mother, ensuring they are comfortable, fed, safe, and well. However, she is much less considerate with her own inner child. She is convinced that self-indulgence is greedy and immoral, she can have feelings of internal disgust or express acts of self-cruelty. Self sacrifice is a safe distraction from herself. She vanishes like a fairy and takes on somebody else’s problems. Ritualistic service and empathy eventually becomes exhaustive for the mind, spirit, and body with Moon in the 6th. But it can be incredibly difficult for the individual to stay still, relaxed, and take adequate rest. The nervous and digestive system is responsive to emotional stimulus, and the individual may suffer cyclic seasonal sickness or menstrual problems. High stress reduces immune efficiency so they become easily unwell and rundown. There can be anxious butterflies fluttering chaos in the stomach, even when there is nothing to be nervous about. The appetite can fluctuate and go through periods of craving dairy, sugar, and increased fluids. Emotions use the body like a direct message service. Somatic symptoms can be evasive, change, and remain undiagnosed because its the contaminated residue of unprocessed feelings. When she talks about and shares the the experience it can dissolve from the mind and body completely. There may be some level of health anxiety, fearing the worst when a new symptom emerges. The ambivalence and inconsistency of physical symptoms only exaggerates this response.
There is a pristine arrangement of emotion that Moon decides is acceptable for herself. She tries to compress her feelings inside a perfect glass heart box, maintain strict order, and flatten every emotional ripple. But this glass can be sharp and slicing. She can be ashamed by her own emotions, while continuing to validate and soothe the same in other people. She is concerned that sharing her distress will reveal imperfections and destroy people’s faith in her guidance. The individual prides herself as a problem solver, a sounding board, and warm hands to make everything better. She can make babies stop crying and help lost or injured animals. The base lack of self-care and comfort is basically altruistic, but it can impair her from offering full capacity and potential because she is unwell or burned out. Routine balances the inner equilibrium, and it’s important for the individual to maintain a daily sleep, diet, time out, and mindfulness schedule. It may be beneficial for the individual to eat heavier meals in the day and light in the evening because she can become bloated and anxious around this time. As she develops more self-awareness she gets in sync with the rhythm of her body and follows it verbatim. Routine is a comfort measure. Emotional instability causes her to rely on these until they become compulsive and self-destructive rituals. Work can become a second home for people with Moon in the 6th where colleagues are integrated like family. She may become very unsettled or personally involved with issues at work and find it difficult to detach herself. There may be difficulty finding and holding into secure and longterm employment. She may have to take considerable time off work to care for an ill family member or due to illness herself. Moon in the 6th is a lunar pharmacy that remains open all through the night and day, never turning away somebody that needs help or a safe place to stay.
