After a wonderfully long Christmas break, here we are back to reality. Today was my first day of my internship!! I felt pretty professional in this outfit so I decided to blog about it. Only one internship, one class and four months until I am DONE WITH COLLEGE!

I have gotten pretty lucky today... First, this lady I had given my number to about a month ago finally called me to babysit. Today I went to her house & watched her son while she did some work in the house. She wants me to come consistently during the week and is paying me some good cash flow! Second, my friend said I could get a job at the restaurant he works at which is pretty popular around this area. Then it gets better, this hot male that comes through my job's drive thru regularly came in tonight. He told me "you are always working!" And I said, "no, I only have two shifts. You just get lucky and come in when I am working!". He then handed me his business card & told me he was the owner of a local BBQ restaurant and told me to text him & he could get me a job! I must have had my job face on today. Not complaining. ~A

S, her boyfriend, and I went to a place in NYC called Capitale for NYE! It was amazing. High ceilings, dancing, open bar, champagne at midnight, etc. I even got a random make out at midnight, check that off the list. Anyway... We had bought our tickets the night before on a website called JoonBug and had to pick them up the next day at Penn Station Pavilion. We get to the place to pick up the tickets and the line is BLOCKS long. There's no way WE can do that. So I decide to offer someone $20 to cut them. It works. They don't take the money I offered so cool. We also got lucky & got to sit at VIP tables in Capitale without paying the extra $100! Yep, our day and night worked out pretty great! Happy New Years! AHH New York! My cousin lives a block from the Empire State Building! We went to the observation floor the other day. We figured out a trick guys!** just order your regular tickets online & once you get there just say you want to upgrade to the express ticket and they will let you cut the whole line! Once you get to the ticket box just happen to change your mind and not switch to express & only wait 15 minutes instead of 4 hours You're welcome. ~A

So a few years ago I met this man in my nursing classes. Long story short, we started a little relationship. He moved home and we continue this relationship whenever I visit. His family owns a local sports bar which brings in a lot of money. That being said they are a classy little family. He took me to this place called Players Club last night. It's a place where the professional polo players hangout apparently. I felt like a classy young lady! I had my wine in hand, and we sat around a table with a bonfire in the middle. I. Love. It. Also, I have decided that's where I'm getting married one day. Yep. ~A
