Vervain is the kind of person who will do anything for his friends, but because he has severe commitment issues, to have him stick to you for very long is something you should be proud of. He gets annoyed with pretty much everyone and therefore finds himself friendless often, but he doesn't really mind- after all, he doesn't quite give a shit about the Wizarding World and only appreciates it for the wand and the powers... And the occasional witches he won't mind fucking. If it were up to him, he would be on a roadtrip headed nowhere, living and existing all over Europe, a nomad in a truck listening to good music and experiencing beautiful things, cultures, people- but not the kind he would have to stick to. He can't love someone enough to want to be around them forever.

Cricket is a fifth year and a rather irritable, girly feminist. Irritable in the sense that she'll shove it down your throat if you make one wrong move around her. Other than that, though, she generally shuts up because she finds most people to be the bane of her existence- which people often mistake for her being shy, considering her small voice. She despises generalization and she... Hates more than she loves, to be honest. So far, the only thing she truly enjoys in the school is the classes and being able to go running on the open grounds, which she does every morning. People used to call her a dyke when insulting her because of her feminist views and her once constantly shaved head, but over the past summer she finally abided by her nitpicky mothers wishes and used hair growing potions. Despite her girly ways, she always thought a bald head was a cool one.

Serpentis Malfoy, who goes by her middle name Carmen, is literally a stupid bitch. She isn't on Ailbe or Kherington's level, but... Well, she's the third friend, you know? There's a pack of three, bitchy mean girls (and in this case one of them is a boy,) and one of them is the runt of the group because the other two sort of use her. Carmen's gullible, she does what they tell her to, so on- she's never had real friends and Ailbe and Kherington are two of the only people who will speak to her without being so patronizing.. At least, not so patronizing all the time. She's just never known real friendship and she figures people think she's too stupid to build relatonships with her anyway. The one class she succeeds at is potions, and actually tutors in it, but every other subject is lost on her.

AVERY! Avery is Head Girl and a total sweetheart, as well as a good person (though she might come off as a kid with an obsession with her body being free at first, considering she rarely likes to wear anything confining, specifically the uniform.) While she might just be a pushover she does freak out when someone's a delinquent, and sometimes she talks like an old man sitting on his porch chair yelling at children all day- but she really, truly means the best. She's never actually gotten in trouble before, to be honest, and she's just as pure as people say she is, despite her friendship with Kherington. She has a knack for pissing people off with her innocence ok.

Marlowe Orleans Malinen, known as Orleans, is a spirit that can't handle the relationships she tries so hard to hold onto. She's just always been afraid that people were going to hurt her- ex., Rain- and therefore, she had to hurt them first, no matter how much she loves them. When you have her as a friend she may be in and out at first but once you really have her you will never get rid of her. When people leave her, she becomes a sobbing mess- she gets attached too easily, so, there's that. She figures if she gets a head start, everything will work out better- it's not like she's a good person anyway, considering her drug and alcohol issues. If she hurts people first, she'll save herself. If she hurts people first, she'll save them from the hurt that will actually mean something... Or, that's how she sees it.

Tris Manis is none other than the Tris- well, if you know of his music hitting the underground muggle and wizarding scenes. Wowzerz! But other than that, he's Hogwarts' Romeo to every Juliet that falls for him. He's a hopeless romantic but he's the sort that falls in love with a little something in everyone- passion gets him the most... But once he's in a relationship, he finds someone else who catches his interest and therefore dumps factor a to get with factor b- you know? He's a player, but he doesn't realize that he's one at all- he doesn't understand that he's breaking hearts in the process. Romantics aside, he's a very fun loving, happy guy. He's opinionated but accepting, especially when people can point out his wrongs- but when he has something to say he'll make sure that he is heard and his point gets across. When offended, he doesn't get angry- he passes it off. He doesn't see his life having any time for anger, or anything too negative, so he often ignores it all. The only time he'll tap into such emotions is if someone messes with the people he cares about.

Ailbe and Tris are in fact twins, but nothing alike at all. While they have similarties in appearance, Ailbe has the softer features and brown eyes, whereas Tris is the ugly one- or, so Ailbe likes to claim. Fully invested in his face and his personal well being, he's the self proclaimed king of the school, constantly fighting Kherington for the spot. (Because despite their friendship he's always seen her as below him.) He makes people live through Hell if they so much as cross him the wrong way, and it's not the terrifying kind his dad put people through, but the bitchiest kind- that is, unless you want to fight him. He likes to believe he's untouchable, if we're being completely honest here- and he loves to twist people's words into bullshit because he thinks it's funny when people fight over gossip. He's a right cunt. Rita Skeeter would be proud.

Tooooby. he's a really sweet dude! He really is. He wants to be friends with people and all that but he has trouble making friends considering their parents are killers and he seems a little wacky at first which puts people off. He often thinks lowly of himself, as if he's some kind of freak of nature. He's always putting himself down- some people think he's fishing for compliments but if they look at his face when he says such things they would know that he really, painfully means it. He's a smoker and he's kind of that kid you see in the halls that's drowning in his baggy tops and jackets, you know? and like... typicall he'd be the person people don't realize is actually really pretty and good until they leave the school or until they bother speaking to him. He tries to be happy and the best he can be but he just can't do it sometimes. He flinches when people touch him bc the only people that do as his parents (Iris especially,) Milo, and his michael cera premade bestie- but Iris is the most predominant in his memory.

So, Perseus is twenty years old and he's the Potions TA because he refuses to be the ta for his mother and his father. He's a very good guy, but the kind that, while he was at Hogwarts, people never actually saw during the day. Rumored to be a vampire, he was always skipping classes- but somehow knew to show up on important days- and otherwise slept the whole time, coming out at night to do whatever he pleased. He was never a bad guy though, despite what his appearance may have suggested. He would raise a little hell here and there but he was moreso focused on relaxing, staying out of the Malfoy spotlight, and being his own person- which he managed, fairly well. Experiencing everything, all the reality and fake, you know? (He really like hallucinogens, just so we all know that.) He had friends but he was the distant one of the group- he easily strung them along, but never bothered with them unless he saw it as convenient. Now, he has to appear in the day, and continues to considering he's been a TA since he graduated. He has no real plans for the future, which is why he's sticking to Hogwarts, until he figures something out.

Jensen is the DADA professor- this is his first year teaching, by the way. Nephew of the late Zakarus Zukowski, he came to the school because he knew Zakarus worked there and he'd been told by his uncle Kryztian that despite what happened it was a great experience for the man. (See, Jensen, back home in Poland, didn't live a very good life- which he brought upon himself considering the fact that he was a pretty terrible bully way back when do to anger issues, growing up to become an alcoholic bully of a father. He nearly beat his kid to death when he was drunk and angry once, and he'll never forgive himself for it.)
He's a strict professor but he does lighten up when people are actually working- and outside of the classroom he's a pretty cool person, despite his easy irritation. The reason he didn't go into teaching until now was because after his extended education, he was twenty eight and looking for something else to do in life- aka, boxing. Yes, he's a boxer! (And my headcanon is down at Hog's Head they've gotten bigger and put in a boxing ring, inspired by muggle things, and on weekends/some nights Jensen goes down and boxes. And his students are totes welcome to watch. Wink cough wink.)
The reason for his boxing, though, if you go deeper into it, isn't just because he needed something to do- it's because he doesn't have the guts to hurt himself, so he needs other people to do it for him...

Kelsey Waltz is a sixth year who literally does not live with regret. He doesn't see everything as a learning experience, but the past- because, what's the point in constantly remembering everything when one can live in the moment? He doesn't see why anyone would want to "grow" in life anyway. He basically has no conscience and does as he pleases, and, girls? Hah! No- he doesn't speak to girls under any circumstances, because he likes to claim he holds the childish "girls have cooties" views (while in reality, they make him squirmish and nervous, and when he gets nervous he acts like a hyperactive freak on sugar mixed with an asshole who's humor knows no limits.) Well, let's be honest- his humor really does have no limits, and it often gets him in trouble.

Micah is in his seventh year, and when you see him, he's probably in a group of misfits slowly maturing and becoming something else. He's a good guy and he's fairly nice, but his humor can be a little harsh and he's not going to sugarcoat anything for anyone. He believes in the truth, in surviving, in the ideas of existentialism and the security of the woods. He's a really simple dude, you know? He doesn't judge, he accepts- as people are people and they don't deserve to be judged by others on any level in his mind.
