Has anyone noticed how messed up people’s heights are on Seth Macfarlane shows? Like, the people who created the characters were just really lazy and kinda made some of the main cast of their shows weirdly short. Namely, the daughters on Family Guy, American Dad, and Cleveland Show are all a little to short for their age.

You see, from a genetics standpoint, this doesn’t make sense. You could argue that these girls could get taller, except even the youngest daughter, Roberta age 15, seems to have gone through puberty and is likely at her peak height. Meg and Hayley are definitely not getting taller since they are both adults of at least 18 years of age. So, why are none of them even as tall as their moms? It certainly isn’t because of their dads, who are all at least as tall as the moms.

So, naturally, it wouldn’t make much sense for them all to have such short daughters. What I take from this is that when creating the characters, they wanted to make it immediately apparent who were the daughters and who were the moms, so they made the daughters shorter. Now, this would make sense, if all the daughters weren’t so old. Instead, you end up with a bunch of weird short characters. Honestly, I often forget that Hayley isn’t in high school, even though she is at least 19, because she looks like a teenager. It’s a mistake that’s hard to ignore once you see it.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, how about the fact that Rallo, a 5 year old, is as tall as Stewie, a 1 year old.

One of my favorite things about how dumb we as Americans are is that I have been asked more than once in my life “What form of money do they use in Hawaii?” and/or “Who is the political leader of Hawaii?” and I have been completely stumped only to realize the answers are dollars and the president because it is an American state, and I am an idiot.
