Being able to find someone you click with so naturally is the best feeling ever. You feel like youâve been best friends youâre whole life, it feels like youâre coming home. Youâre so comfortable with them. Maybe thatâs what a soulmate is. Not someone who shares every single thing in common with you, but someone who feels like home.
Being only MONTHS away from your goal after years of waiting is truthfully the most rewarding feeling ever. The anticipation is real.
I hope you grow with grace this year, even if the path is rocky and rough. I hope you get closer to where and who you want to be.
Hey you!
Smokey Falls is located in Waterdown, just outside of Hamilton. This was definitely a hike to remember. IÂ fell (in love) with this waterfall. The cool water was just what we needed hiking down the side trail from the parking lot. The trail is about 5km running beside Grindstone Creek. Once you reach the falls (from either the trail or the side trail by the parking lot), Â you can jump around the rocks on the creek right up to the bottom of the falls.
Overall, the hike is easy and light, making the view easier to appreciate. Just remember to bring good shoes! Iâve only recently found out about this place and Iâm glad we paid it a visit. Enjoy the pictures and the vlog, and go see it for yourself!

REVISITING HILTON FALLS
Whatâs up, beautiful people. Iâm here to share some pictures from our second visit to Hilton Falls in Milton, Ontario. Last time we went here was summer of last year, and vibe was very different. First off, there werenât many people aroundâthe parking lot was actually full when we got there this time. Also, we saw a lot more litter on the trails. Please use common sense and donât throw your XLâŚ

TORONTO ZOO CLOSE-UPS
Good afternoon beautiful people. We took advantage of the (finally, warm) spring weather yesterday and visited the Toronto Zoo at Rouge Park. Enjoy these rather close-up photos and pay the animals a visit yourself! Not all zoos are âbadââour Toronto Zoo contributes to conservation efforts and we should support them! All photos are mine, so please message me if you would like to share them. ThanksâŚ

When people distance themselves, you can actually feel their missing energy.

Raised in a family in which aggressive shaming and verbal humiliation coexisted with lots of affection and care, I had difficulty embracing the term âdysfunctional.â Since I felt and still feel attached to my parents and siblings, proud of all the positive dimensions of our family life, I did not want to describe us by using a term that implied our life together had been all negative or bad. I did not want my parents to think I was disparaging them; I was appreciative of all the good things they had given in the family. With therapeutic help I was able to see the term âdysfunctionalâ as a useful description and not as an absolute negative judgement. My family of origin provided, throughout my childhood, a dysfunctional setting and it remains one. This does not mean that it is not also a setting in which affection, delight, and care are present.
