Hi, my name is Sol! You can refer to me with any pronouns. You can talk to me in both French and English and Mauritian Creole (can't understand the haitian/reunion island one lol)

I created this blog about 3/4 years ago to post art, but it eventually became a place where I could write about the things I love. I still draw, so in case you want to see more of my art, here is my other account: @pollen-sketches and I'm also on tiktok (s0l_flower), and I write fics.

Shame they removed the part where Qifrey tries to talk Euini into leaving Kukrow's atelier, but they made up for it because french Qifrey straight up insults that old fart to his face!!

Characters shrouded in mystery like Qifrey have a particular way of driving me insane because they're practically begging me to uncover their secrets. They're like a treasure chest, silently beckoning adventurers to open them BUT THERE'S NO KEY IS THERE? I specifically want to know who Qifrey was before he became Qifrey.

He was just a child, about the same age as Coco, Tetia, Richeh, and Agott, if not a bit younger. Was he loved, or unwanted? Was he on his own like Custas before Dagda? If he did live with relatives, were they a big family? Is anyone still alive to mourn that boy that doesn't exist anymore? Would they recognise him if they saw him today?

Was he a witch or an outsider? Was he born blind and the Silverwood gave him his sight back? How could the Silverwood have been triggered when he was being experimented on by the Brimmed Caps? How many times did he wake up, not knowing who or where he was? What exactly did they do to him? (don't answer that last one, it's going to break my heart and I'll be inconsolable for days, I just know it...)

i love you all so very much but some times y'all are a little silly about qifrey's fear/hatred of water

he does not have an irrational fear of water. In fact it is very very rational. So i think he can probably take a bath/shower without freaking out because it is not the same as being stuck in a box filling with water or buffeted around in the ocean currents while being unable to swim

him and olly can have a fun bath together don't worry!!
