Finally finished this piece after 3(?) days! Ended up being a test piece while I retaught myself how to use some watercolor brush pens. I’m quite happy with how it turned out and I can’t wait to do some more beetles (:

Today has been INSANE!! Three new orders, hit my goal for the month, AND reached over 100 sales in my oddity shop! The Ides of March did not stop meeee! (I know that’s like the 15th but oh well lmao)

Got in my wall hanger from Arcadian Crafts today!

Um, hello?? Can we talk about how beautiful both the packaging AND this wall hanger is?? I was blown away, I was super excited to finally have a chance to buy from Autumn and her business, and I just- I can't, this is so great!

Shipping was super fast, packing was 10/10 with adorable treebles, a handwritten note, and all together excellent composition. The quality of "Scarlet" is wonderful, the textures are nice to the touch, fabrics are of nice quality, and the rib bone is clean! Did I mention this little guy was only $10??

Spring is on its way! We’re getting super, super close to the Vernal Equinox. I’m super excited! (Not for the pollen that comes with it though lol)

Speaking of getting close, I should be restocking my oddities shop, ZerosCurioCabinet, with at least a few goodies come March 28th! Fingers crossed anyways!

Just learned the name of these bones!

These are Astragalus, or ankle, bones from a White-tailed Deer! I'll have several of these listed soon. They'll be primarily nature cleaned, but sanitized and washed off with dawn dish soap to remove excess debris while still maintaining that lovely natural patina.
