Grinding today on doodles because I say so, first time doing cardboard randomly- (last post for today, trust. Yes, I messed up Vash’s glasses but whatever, ignore it 😭)
Realizing HOURS later I forgot the other ‘e’ in ‘eyes’ 💀🙏🏻 I did not sleep last night, hang with me chat
Done messed up with thin-tipped sharpie on Vash’s cybernetic arm 💀🙏🏻 it was also rushed anyway and was done in like 10-15 minutes at most (two posts in one day is crazy)
Pen doodle of a screencap thingy, I’m not proud of it but every artist starts somewhere I guess. Somedays are just better than others. I swear it can’t just be me who looks back at other doodles and thinks “now, how did I do that?” 🧍🏻
Saw something that I wanted to redraw but add my own twists to it. Plus listened to a song the entire time and put the lyrics on the side lol. Thin tipped sharpie and first time trying this out with color- I genuinely like it
Also update, things unfortunately fell through despite my efforts with a couple things. I’m also having unfortunate circumstances with family and it’s taking all my time away from social media. I’m too drained and anxious to really be active much of anywhere besides Discord. Things have been incredibly difficult and without family support, it’s even harder I guess. I’m attempting to get into college myself with grants and scholarships + a few other things. I’m tired so being original isn’t something my brain is having an easy time with

Do I make Trigun my entire aesthetic and personality? Yes. Yes I do. I made the banner in Canva and love how it turned out with the profile aesthetic (shhh, we don’t talk about my status)

Still working on the one-shot </3 it’s hella long so far but I don’t really care. I’m hoping to eventually work on an actual fan fiction with multiple chapters, development, etc still focusing on Vashwood. Yet coming up with a unique plot that differs from already existing fics regardless of fandoms now is harder than it seems

I think people need to realize that Trigun Stampede isn’t meant to take away or make the ‘98 anime any less or “lesser.” It’s just a different adaptation and if you don’t like it, that’s fine. Everyone has their own opinions and feelings and everyone is entitled to them. But comparison to the original + even the manga just sort of kills the vibe and makes it unenjoyable. Stampede is just something fun to watch, especially for people who haven’t even seen the ‘98 anime or even read the manga, just let people enjoy what they want 😭🙏🏻
I still think the design for Knives in the finale was hilariously dumb 😭 they did SO WELL on everyone’s designs and then absolutely nerfed his final run. Truth be told, the ending was a bit weird to me, especially since Knives since childhood didn’t seem to have as much care for his brother as he suddenly did at the end
It’s almost fanfic-like? I guess in a way? Because Knives seems to jump from “I finally did it! A brilliant success!” and even saying “you’re my accomplice! Well aren’t you, Vash?”
So to me, it seems a little forced that all the sudden his brother cares about him that deeply. Obviously they DID care about each other in Stampede too, but Stargaze kinda went above and beyond with it and in some of the best but also worst ways
I’m also not sure why Knives would let Legato physically and even mentally harm Vash to such an extent. Only to then not want anything happening to Vash, to then say that he did it all so nobody would have to cry again. Especially him. Yet Knives was such a huge cause of his pain to begin with. It’s almost hypocritical to a degree beyond that 😭🙏🏻 I just don’t have another word for it
It bothers me that Knives was also given Tesla’s memory and even Rem’s without any backstory as to HOW. How did he get them and why? Yet also, if he wanted his brother so desperately to understand, why didn’t he say anything? I know Knives said he didn’t want Vash to carry the weight of everything he felt and experienced, which is why Vash felt so thoughtless at the end, but some things, even though they’re small things don’t add up and it’s bothering me
