As a bisexual person, y'all have no idea how much happiness it brings me to see the treatment of Grimal as Kitten's ex. A lot of the times when stories introduce a bisexual character's previous relationship, it goes all out of its way to minimize or invalidate that relationship as much as possible, as if bisexual people are condemned until they land with "the right one".

Stories that handle a bi character's past relationships lazily either focus only on what the ex did wrong, presents the ex as an unpleasant person to be around at the very least, or worst: makes it seem like the bi character experimenting with the same gender was either "just a phase" or, when an ex is of the opposite gender, reframes it as repressed homosexual identity, which can happen irl, but can push someone away of their bisexual identity when that is not the case.

Grimal's and Kitten's relationship is treated as a something in which BOTH of them commited mistakes and they had to work on, with Grimal's addictive and violent tendencies and with Kitten been prone to hide the things the bother him until they all accumulate and explode.

And also very importantly, Grimal has depth, she's more than Kitten's ex. She has gotten developed as a character from the beginning, to the point she's one of the fandom's main candidates to be the ghoul, i've seen tons of theories on what kind of supernatural creature she might be and has recently caused us fear for her possible death, which means she's no dislikable, breaking the last trope I dislike of this type of characters.

I understand being young and feeling self conscious about your artwork, but your drawing of a kids next door au for an obscure plants vs zombies character that’s basically your own oc at this point wearing an outfit you wish you owned is so unique and so you and therefore so human. Dont you dare conflate it with slop and dont you dare stop making your art
