Tito’s Vodka & Spurs Give
Austin-based Tito’s is teaming up with Spurs Give to distribute 20,000 bottles of free hand sanitizer to San Antonians at the AT&T Center on July 23rd.
Chunky’s Burgers & More
Chunky’s Burgers are offering free meals to anyone who needs one. They can simply ask for one at their Callaghan Road location.

VIA Transit
Through August, VIA is offering complimentary 31-day passes to San Antonians who are currently unemployed.
Tim Duncan Foundation and Spurs Give
The Tim Duncan Foundation and Spurs Give each donated $100,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank as part of the Spurs Café initiative. With this investment, the Food Bank will deliver 25,000 meals from local restaurants to families living in low-income apartment complexes.
Taco Cabana
Taco Cabana is offering free lunch to kids under 12 all summer long. The meal is available each weekday at drive-thrus, with no purchase necessary.
Trinity University
Trinity University is soliciting short-term, remote projects from businesses and nonprofits. They’ll share these projects with students whose summer internships have been canceled and invite them to apply for the project. Learn more at TigerWorks.
City of San Antonio
The City of San Antonio is hosting a supply pickup day on May 27th for local businesses and nonprofits that are reopening. Supplies include one non-contact thermometer, two gallons of hand sanitizer, and face masks. To register, call 3-1-1 or sign up online.
Broadway Bank
Broadway Bank launched the #BGenerous campaign to match donations, up to $10,000, to The Children’s Shelter throughout the month of May. Like many nonprofits, they’ve had to cancel fundraising events due to the pandemic and need donors to help them close the gap. Broadway Bank has also made monetary donations to nonprofits providing critical services throughout the area including the San Antonio Food Bank, Haven for Hope, Family Violence Prevention Services, Project Quest, and San Antonio Restaurant Association.
UTSA
UTSA launched Career in Focus, a workforce initiative in support of San Antonians facing job instability amid the COVID-19 crisis. The initiative will offer free and discounted online career advancement courses to help residents learn new skills or explore new careers.
Roadmap Brewing Co.
Roadmap raffled off its original brewing system to raise money for the San Antonio Food Bank. After several other local breweries donated additional prizes and a member of the Roadmap Family offered to match up to $5,000, the brewery raised $13,460 for the Food Bank.
Folklores Coffee House
Since beginning to offer free food to seniors in March, Folklores Coffee House has provided over 5,000 packages of groceries. They’ve also partnered with Hot Wells Conservancy to take donations and keep the program going.
Bexar County
Bexar County Commissioners Court passed a resolution to expand mail-in voting to residents to ensure that all can vote and continue to practice physical distancing.
UTSA
UTSA extended automatic grad school acceptance to its higher-performing undergraduate seniors during the crisis and has indicated a desire to continue to do so.
Patty Mills
To celebrate Mother’s Day, Spurs guard Patty Mills encouraged San Antonians to support one of 8 local coffee shops. He then matched and doubled the day’s revenue and donated that to Family Violence Prevention Services. Spurs Give also matched $20,000 of Patty’s donation. The campaign raised $103,965.76 for FVPS.
South San Antonio High School Students
South San students developed a door-to-door project to lift the spirits of their younger peers and promote emotional well-being.
