Dear Heart

Kamusta ka na ba?.... Kamusta kayo ni God?.... Mga linya na paulit ulit kong tinatanong sa sarili ko. Mga linya na hanggang ngayon hindi ako sigurado sa isasagot ko. "Kamusta ka na ba?.." "Kamusta kayo ni God?..." Mga linya na tinatanong sakin ng dgroup leader ko sa tuwing magkikita kami. Kamusta nga ba ako?... Kamusta nga ba ang relasyon ko sa Panginoon ko?... Sobrang tagal na nung huling beses akong nagkaroon ng isang masayang "quiet time". Sa sobrang tagal hindi ko na maalala kung kelan. Sa sobrang tagal, parang nakalimutan ko na kung paano sisimulan. Sa sobrang tagal nahiya na kong lumapit at kausapin ang Sya. Nagsimula ito nung mga panahon na naging makasarili ako. Iniisip ko yung bagay na akala ko ginagawa ko para sa Kanya. Yun pala ginagawa ko para sa sarili ko. Naging mahigpit ang hawak ko sa mga bagay na akala ko para sa akin, na akala ko binigay sa akin. Yun pala ay pinahiram lang sa akin. Nagsimula ito nung mga panahon na hindi ko natupad yung bagay na gusto kong gawin. Nagsimula ito nung hindi dininig ang aking mga panalangin. "Kamusta ka ba anak?..." Tanong ng Panginoon sa akin.. "Eto ako Panginoon, lugmok sa kasalanan" sagot ko sa aking Panginoon. Nagpapakalunod sa mga bagay na akala ko magbibigay sa akin ng kaligayahan. Sa mga bagay na akala ko magpupuno ng puwang sa puso ko na para lang Sayo. "Kamusta ka na ba Anak ko?..." Eto Panginoon, pinipilit kong bumangon upang makabalik sa piling Mo. Pinipilit kong bumalik Sayo dahil alam kong Ikaw lang ang may kayang gumamot sa puso ko. Matatanggap mo pa ba ako? "Anak, kahit anong paglayo ang gawin mo, andito lang ako, maghihintay sa pagbalik mo" ang sabi sakin ng Panginoon ko. Kamusta ba ang puso ko? Masaya, sa kadahilanang mahal Mo ako Panginoon ko kahit alam kong hindi naman ako karapat dapat sa pagmamahal na binibigay mo. Masaya ako, dahil alam ko lumayo man ako ng ilang beses, andyan ka naghihintay sa pagbabalik ko. Masayang masaya ako, dahil alam ko na mahal mo ako at mamahalin mo pa ako. Masayang masaya ako, dahil kahit kailan alam ko na hindi mo ko ako sinukuan, hindi mo inisip na ako'y pabayaan. Salamat Sa'yo Panginoon ko. Salamat sa pagmamahal mo.

Are you in pain right now? Are you in sufferings? Don’t worry, God allow things to happen not to harm you, but because He has purpose and most of all He has a plan! We don’t know yet what it is, but one thing is for sure, for every sufferings there is a purpose. Trust Him! He always know what’s best for us!

Dear Future Love,

I was wondering where you are. Have we met already? Are we friends? Are you still in a relationship? Or are you just sitting right behind me. Well, i think there’s a lot of possibilities. But nevertheless, please promise me one thing. Promise me that the wait will be worth it.

As of the moment, i have an idea who might be you are. But i’m still waiting for the right time. The time when i’ll be able to say, “oh, this is the man i’ve been waiting for”. I’ve been through a lot. Sleepless nights due to a heartbreak. Crying myself to sleep. Been there, done that! But I promise myself that the next man I will love would be my last. Maybe you, too?

Every now and then, I keep on thinking about you. I keep on thinking about the things that we will do when we are finally together. I’m thinking about having a date while watching the sunset. I think a lot of stuff like giggling and laughing till our stomach begins to ache. What i have in mind is a faceless man, but I’m praying, constantly and earnestly praying that it is you.

My past relationship is so odd, but I know that the best one is yet to come. I know that the good Lord is preparing both of us to be the best version of own selves. I know God will faithfully lead you towards me. And when the time has come, I know the long wait will be worth it. ❤️

The ups and downs in life bring beauty in unforeseen ways. There are life events that batter us down. However, your faith can determine the outcome. It’s easy to stay beaten in a lonely place by focusing on yourself as a victim. Or, you can overcome this and recover by placing your faith in God. Even more, you can come out a better person and excel beyond your imagination. Remember, God has the power to make things we can’t see appear. It just takes a little faith.
