by extremely late i mean i’m now closer to 800 than 700, and i hit that number a couple weeks ago—but! that doesn’t matter because here it is.
11 months, almost a year, from the very beginning of this account and i’m almost at 800 followers—that’s insane, especially since i hadn’t liked, read, or watched bleach in years, and renji wasn’t even one of my most loved characters.i picked him up because there weren’t that many accounts for him around at the time, and i thought, ‘hey, what could go wrong?’ i was super nervous to play him, and even more nervous to get into a fandom that i had never participated actively in before.
i love each and every one of you, i truly do, from the ones that have been following me from literally the first day i made this account to the ones who just followed me today. thank you, thank you, for sticking around and rooting for me, even when i took random hiatuses all the time because i got insecure and even though at any given moment most of my blog is crack posts.
i hope to keep seeing all of you around for another year to come, and the next after that.
invertxd - even though we’ve only known each other for…i think it’s a few weeks, now, i’m amazed that we already talk to each other about super personal things and that renji and shinji are already such an incredible ship. you let me hit on you and flirt with you excessively and don’t even complain about it—i still can’t believe that, tbh. you and i are like the queens of thirst and i’m looking forward to ruling over the thirst queendom for the rest of eternity, because lbr we’re both too unlucky to find anybody but each other to share our pain.
lunaeterea - my renji truly wouldn’t be complete without his byakuya—and you have so graciously and wonderfully filled that position. you play him perfectly, and though you’ve had to put up with a whole lot, you still manage to log onto tumblr and not let anything get you down. i love the conversations we have on skype about our muses and our lives alike, and you never fail to make me laugh. i can’t wait to see how renji and byakuya’s relationship develops, and where our friendship, as well, goes from here.
nokoruu/uuuso - eva, man, it’s been over a year since we first met—how crazy is that, right? i feel like every time someone makes a new blog the other follows (spiderman, bleach, etc) and i’m so glad that you’re always there to torture/tease my muses (in a good way, of course) and listen to me complain about college on skype—i’m so, so thankful we met over on beast and sauron and i can’t wait to see what muse you make a blog for next.
reddier - haha, what a loser ( that’s payback for calling me a loser, dickwad :| ). nah, but for real, amber, i love you a lot—you’re one of the best friends i have, especially considering we met on tumblr, and my track record with tumblr friends is not great—despite that, i think we’ve been pretty lucky. you never fail to make me feel better when i’m down, and we’ve even spent some time together irl—you didn’t even stop speaking to me afterwards (haha ow) and you’ve remained one of my greatest friends since we first met.
xaoli - who knew that li and renji would end up getting so attached to each other, right?? or that we’d get along so well together ooc. i love talking to you, and even though you think all your rambling and complaining annoys me, it really doesn’t—i enjoy talking to you, no matter the context. you encourage me to do well and you always check on how my surgery knee’s doing—thank you for always looking out for me.
