It will always be so funny to me how quickly people threw Alexy to the trash when he confessed he cheated, but when Candy did it, the whole fandom got divided.
Don't get me wrong, I cheated on my LI and then regretted it, so I stayed single. But... I always laughed when I saw those posts desperately trying to defend Candy and Eric's relationship. I couldn't help but think “weren't we all heavily judging Alexy when he did it? What makes it "okay" this time?”.
Because *personally* I never saw a single post defending Alexy. Anywhere. I think I understand why. We all know cheating is wrong, but when we do it ourselves, we try to justify it to make ourselves feel better. I've been there. (And yes, I know the player can choose to do whatever they want.)
And... I'm speechless now. I found out that a wedding episode is coming and... Eric is included...?
No Armin? No Lysander? No Kentin? Alright.
Now, person who is reading this. I know what you're thinking: “They'll never come back, get over it already!” Well, I have the right to complain about it just like you can talk about how happy you are that you're going to marry your LI.
But this feels so wrong to me, lmao. I'm glad I chose to be single. Because, to be honest, even though Eric caught my attention... I wouldn't be happy with a wedding. When I heard about it, I wasn't excited or anything like that... I only said “wait, really?”.
I guess Alexy was a horrible person and never deserved to be loved again, but Candy deserves a beautiful wedding, huh. That's fine.
Welp, congrats to all of you, I guess. Pray and hope that you'll be able to see your LIs this episode. Who knows if we're going to waste our time talking to our friends and thinking about the CBC issues, only to see and talk to our now husband/wife for only two minutes 🥴
