Here’s a self portrait depicting everything I am self conscious about on my face. Wonky eyes, dark circles, big nose, crooked lips and a double chin. I’ve been thinking a lot about the idea of “flattering” and how we have such an obsession with symmetry when it comes to beauty in the face but not with composition in art.
