fighting sehun back was useless; that was something baekhyun quickly learnt. the other was much taller and much stronger, therefore attempting to successfully push the other away was begging to look ridiculous. instead he remained still, glaring at the floor and lower lip pouting in protest. as always; childish. the other's lips against the corner of his mouth had baekhyun flinching, an attempt at squeezing himself some more away from sehun, lips pressing together in a thin line. for once, he was glad blood was frozen in his veins, for at least it stopped the boy's face from flushing red. he could only imagine all the teasing comments from sehun's part if he were to witness baekhyun blushing, and the latter can only be glad he is unable to give sehun such satisfaction. although from the embarrassed and annoyed expression on baekhyun's face, it isn't difficult to imagine pink cheeks decorating it. "i--" even if baekhyun were to have a comeback ready (which he didn't), he wouldn't even have chance to say it given that soon his hands were pinned against the wall, and he could only give sehun an outrageous gaze. one that clearly read 'what do you think you're doing?', the shorter taking offense in the other's actions and how he so freely played around with baekhyun like this, as if he were allowed to do so in the first place. but the words get stuck in his throat as sehun's lips once again work on his skin and baekhyun swallows dryly, lower lip worrying between his teeth.  the other's words earned a small gasp from the shorter, and although his heart had stopped beating a long time ago, baekhyun could swear he could almost feel it starting to drum again just because of how low sehun's voice sounded like. the older was sinful, that's what he was - and baekhyun wanted none to do with it. or, he would never admit it to be otherwise. "what are you even saying-" baekhyun complained, wiggling just a bit under sehun's grip, though was quick to give up with a groan for there was no way he could manage to push the other. "you know what- you're a pervert, that's what you are. get off!" shame on sehun, shame on his family, and shame on his cow.

i'm not picky. { --baekhyun defended himself, a finger being raised in protest. funnily enough, the shorter didn't seem to mind the nickname 'princess' at all. in fact, he would have to admit he has grown rather used to it. instead what bothers him most is chanyeol's ridiculously tall height; it was quite offending, truly. more often than not baekhyun ends up demanding the other to lower himself, because baekhyun can't afford looking like a twelve years old next to the other (it's bad for public image, he tells himself) } that just tastes bad, okay? like about everything here. and anywhere. { --the negative comments went on and baekhyun had to bump against chanyeol to dodge a couple, seemingly too occupied with each other to care about the passing people. he shot a glared in their direction, an annoyed huff escaping past his lips as his arms crossed over his chest. yet another reason his personal height is offending - you go unnoticed in crowds } this is disrespectful.. { --he mumbled more to his own ears than towards chanyeol, though was quick to glance back up at the other and shoot a demanding, pouty look in his direction } if you were a good person, you'd carry me instead of letting me suffer in the middle of all these morons.

being pulled back had been expected; in fact, baekhyun only walked past sehun because he knew the other would pull him back. though, never would he admit he expected such actions. instead another exaggerated huff escaped past his lips and his brows furrowed some more, a harsh expression that didn't really fit well with his soft features. his lower lip jutted in a protesting pout as baekhyun childishly refused to look up at sehun, instead keeping his gaze glaring somewhere else as the taller trapped him in his arms. his pout only grew as he heard the other's words, finally meeting sehun's gaze with another glare. "jerk." he insulted, this time right at his face like sehun had requested so. he wasn't afraid of the other, although more often than not the taller vampire would give him reasons to fear and respect him as if he were baekhyun's master. but the shorter is stubborn, hot-headed and independent, and he refuses to listen to sehun at all. "you're a jerk, a big one!" baekhyun's lack of originality in his insults was compensated by the shorter hitting his palm against sehun's shoulder, with the intention of pushing him away although it barely made the other move. one could say strength was never baekhyun's forte. "do you even realize how important that meeting was? do you realize how important my career is?" another huff and baekhyun's gaze is again drifting to glare at the walls, childishly mumbling the next words, "clearly you don't, you walking rotten mushroom."

baekhyun kept eyeing sehun with a dumbfounded expression, brows furrowed and mouth slightly agape, for he just couldn't believe what was happening right before his eyes. each time sehun does this baekhyun hopes the other will learn how terrible it is, how he is potentially destroying a good proposal for his career's success - yet the other always comes back to do the same and the younger vampire feels rather dumb to even hope sehun will change his greeting methods. "sehun..!" the sight of the older vampire grabbing onto the couple's arms like that was enough to earn a reaction from baekhyun at last, a gasp followed by the shorter quickly stepping in between. "there's no need, okay? they will leave. stop." he scolded the other, shooting a glare in his direction before turning towards the rather shocked stylists. he apologized, although he wasn't all that apologetic (for baekhyun doesn't care about the humans but yes about his career, so he wasn't angry over them being mistreated; he was angry over the most likely ruined opportunity), and after a few scoffs and bad looks from them that made the model want to break someone's neck right there, they were escorted to the exit. the moment the doors closed, baekhyun turned back towards sehun with a deadly glare, clearly not amused over the other's behaviour. "asshole." he hissed, huffing and turning to walk past the other vampire. sehun more often than not demanded respect from baekhyun - and the latter just loved to disobey him. if sehun annoys him, baekhyun annoys him back - it is only fair.

ew. { --a frown paints baekhyun's features as he pulls his mouth away from the red-coloured candy apple he had just bit, lower lip jutting in protest over the bad taste. he couldn't recall the last time he ate one of these, but he could easily tell it didn't taste this bad. he should have expected it, after all, he is a vampire now - but sometimes there's that slight hope some food other than blood might still taste good. well, guess again. with a huff, he wipes non-existent dirt for the corner of his lip (an almost instinctive act of showing disgust, apparently), before pushing the candy apple in the direction of the one person that has kept him company for god knows whatever reason - chanyeol. they don't really get along, but then again, you find them together more often than not. it's complicated. } here, take it. { --he urged the other to grab the apple stick, pout still present in his lips. he's quite offended over the apple's taste, yes he is. }

play? { --the invitation sounds odd and almost offending to baekhyun's ears, for he is quite the serious person, thank you very much, and he doesn't go around playing games. much less games whose purpose baekhyun barely even understands, arms crossing over his chest as he looks back down at the fish. he knew it was something about catching them, but how dumb could that be? } oh, no no- i don't, uh- i don't play. { --he shook his head, gaze falling on the water once again as he pressed his lips in a thin line. the want was clearly there, and he was indeed childishly fascinated with the fish a while ago (although he denies it), but could he really be seen in public playing these games? } you play. go ahead. { --he mumbled out, forcing his gaze somewhere else to resist the urge. nope. not going to give in. }

anyone that has the slight information on baekhyun knows the boy works in peculiar ways and under certain conditions. he has overheard many people comment on how 'he is perfect if you go along with his rules, but he'll make your life hell if you don't', and he could not agree on a better description of his work life - or his life in general. he likes things his own way and he makes sure everyone knows - and everyone complies. one of said conditions is that most, if not all, meetings are held at baekhyun's house. leaving during the day is extremely bothersome for the vampire due to rather obvious reasons, so he demands to be met in his mansion or not be met at all. of course, this also becomes bothersome to many stylists and directors in return, but that's their problem and baekhyun isn't interested; they either comply, or no agreement at all. that being said, the boy was that moment discussing some matters over his next modeling session, and also trying to fit in the shooting with his schedules for his upcoming musical appearances. he always tries to fit in both things, for the more he works, the more success and fame he has (not to mention it keeps him occupied, as getting bored is something awfully easy for baekhyun), but whenever he fails to do so, he always prioritizes his performances rather than modeling. nevertheless the discussion was going rather well until something - someone - interrupted them. baekhyun's jaw pretty much dropped open at the too familiar voice of sehun, head turning to be met with said person. now, sehun has done this a terribly awful amount of times - but does it get better any time? it doesn't. and does baekhyun approve? absolutely not. "sehun." baekhyun hisses under his breath, a rather hurried tone as a way of telling sehun what the hell are you doing. he glances nervously at the man and woman he was talking to, before looking back at the older vampire. "sehun, not now."

{ --baekhyun isn't quite sure what dragged him outside that night, or why he even bothered to do so. he's not one to go out - not, unless he is to be the main attraction of wherever he directs himself to, that is. baekhyun may be rich and self-proclaimed popular, but he's not that much of a social butterfly as he makes it seem when impersonating his multiple musical characters. no, baekhyun is a rather stiff person, awkward truly, hiding helplessness under a cold personality. therefore, he's not exactly one to leave his house when not needed, nor really one to 'hang out with friends', yet he still found himself going over to the summer festival. he feels better by telling himself he's doing it out of pure tradition, and not because he might actually hope to see some familiar face or have some sort of social interaction. nevertheless, he's mildly interested in the goldfish he found swimming around in the clear water, tilted head and dark eyes watching the little fish dance around so prettily like that. maybe it's a bit dumb (who even gets fascinated by fish?), but baekhyun is pretty damn entertained, he may say - so much that when a familiar voice is heard, he quickly looks up with a rather alarmed expression, eyes searching the crowd in search of its source. luhan. was he surprised? he couldn't really tell. it has been a while since they have last spoken, though. baekhyun straightened himself, clearing his throat softly, and pretending he wasn't just impressed by fish five seconds ago } odd, isn't it? { --he offers a smile out of politeness, followed by a shrug as his eyes drift to look around the place } i wanted to see how the festival was holding up this year, i guess.
