🐰💜[TADC AU] Recovered Jax Ref Sheet🎀🗝️

Here’s a ref sheet for my AU called “Jax’s Redemption.”

Bio: Jax has been abstracted for several months, and he will recover after he’s in the giant shack pillow fort, resting in the dark. I thought of an aftermath episode 9 where Pomni tries again to save Jax from abstraction when Kinger and Caine try their best to recover his code. Jax is now de-abstracted, but he has many scars from abstraction. (that inspired by Steven Universe for odd reasons.)

He remembers how he regrets everything by pushing people away, but he wanted to be a better person, he’s no longer a jerk or an a**hole to anyone in the circus anymore. He doesn’t want to torment Ragatha, Gangle, and Zooble because he doesn’t want to get into trouble if they don’t have the right to defend him. They felt sorry for not including Jax in the first place. I think Jax would’ve been honest about it if he tried to reconcile everyone about what he said that they’re not real people if he knew about character archetypes and didn’t cut his act all the time, he has dissociation from reality, and a lack of humanity.

Pomni wanted to help him to realize who he was. He wanted to explain about his past and his regrets. He admitted that he did to Ribbit and Kaufmo by causing them to be abstracted. My idea is how Jax would be abstracted in episode 9, after the abstractions in the aquarium, he could reconnect with his friends and apologize for what he did to avoid making them feel miserable for some reason. I’m guessing he would have met Queenie and Scratch.

I wonder what Jax would do if Caine wanted to apologize to him after he did in episodes 7, 8, or 9? Maybe Jax would try to forgive him if he didn’t act like a jerk who hides his problems.

This is how Jax was redeemed in “What If Jax Was Changed.” It’s a TADC Fan Comic that I already forgot to work on a couple of months ago. Sometimes I have a lot of scrapped scripts and concepts that I made for so long. I’ll be making more Jax’s Redemption AU when I get some more ideas for my projects soon.

She came out in her swimsuit.

Lying to himself about his feelings for her was one thing, convincing himself he wasn't attracted to her was another story.

She wore a brown triangle bikini top with puka shell accents, paired with a pair of board shorts. Her hair was tied in a knot, and her sunglasses rested on her head. He was trying so hard not to stare at her— her anything really, her chest, her lips, the curve of her waist, her belly button ring that had a dangling purple stone. Her entire being was a magnet to his eyes. It wasn’t just that he didn’t want to be caught, he didn’t like the burning feeling it gave him, that made him want to crawl out of his skin. He didn’t like to think of what it meant, it only confused him then made him angry for not understanding it. For not being able to compartmentalize his feelings towards her. Whatever they were, they were far too complex for him to break down and deliberately misattribute them to some other cause, belief perseverance at its finest. So, he tossed them into the ignore pile.

“You're sure you don't wanna go?” she asked eagerly.

She had been pleading with him for days about this. He wasn't exactly enthralled by the idea. Swimming meant other people would be seeing his body and he didn't exactly like the skin he was in. Wearing a shirt to the lake would only announce that to his friends-not-friends. He may as well write ‘insecure’ on his forehead.

There was also the added fact that it would require being in front of her in her string bikini top while they swam, and he would have to not look at her without being too obvious that he was trying not to look at her because looking at her made his insides feeling boiling hot lava and caused his mouth to go dry and turned his stomach in knots and made his brain play a dial tone and— it was just too much.
