I do all these healthy habits… daily 1h on skincare and oral hygiene, 1h walking, at least 2 hours studying, 35mins showering, cleaning my room before bed every day, dishes everyday, dressing properly, vegetarian intermittent fasting, 16oz water as soon as I wake up, delayed caffeine intake… ts is NOT relaxing me, one day where I don’t do all of it and it’s hell but doing all of it is also hell

I swear I'm meant to do so much but my body won't let me like I was meant to stay up late, consumed in creative work, but my body literally will force quit and fall asleep if I don't get 10 hours of sleep. I am constantly asleep in class, and all my teachers joke about how my eyes flicker when I get tired. I can't stand any sort of cold so I can't wear cute outfits, I'm mentally a very low-energy person and not very "fun." It's not fair that some people's bodies are more resistant.
I am thankful, however, for being very good at running. Maybe "very good" is not the word, but I'm in an art school, and long-distance runners are sparse. Anyone can stay up late, anyone can take inaction, but not everyone can make the commitment to run. I can run 4.1 miles continuously, and each week, my goal is to add another mile until I get to 6.2 miles (10K), stop there and work on my time, and then hopefully my easy runs can be 5 miles. By the time I run a 10K in the summer, I plan to be progressing on half-marathon training.
right when I'm self-improving and feeling great, my parents decide to book a random therapist... my only experience with a therapist was so bad, she talked to me like i was 5 and told me not to ask any questions... I don't need a therapist I need to get out of this house and go to a big city
hello friendly reminder that you do not need a special occasion to use nice things! if you wait long enough your nice bath bomb won't be as fizzy! your favourite fruits will go out of season! candles are meant to be burned, not looked at! you're not enjoying your special tea if it's just sitting in your cupboard! you're allowed to have nice and special things on completely ordinary days! heck, it might just make that day special!!
