Close your eyes for one minute–just imagine your breath on your upper lip—any thoughts come in just think of your breath. What is the sensation–hot, cold. Any time there is a thought go back to analyzing your breath. One solid minute. Now open your eyes and think about how or why you don’t draw everyday. Now start the video. And I want you to imagine George Foreman as your FEAR of drawing and your own worth as a maker. I’m totally serious. It’s terrifying if you plug into that FEAR of drawing and what prevents you from drawing and making comics. We don’t get to just draw one image and be done like illustrators or painters–we have to keep going, round after round. Can you beat him? Can you even stand in there against him? Watch this like the videos I post for inspiration—however it’s the inverse—this isn’t uplifting—it’s TERRIFYING. Use it as fuel.–FS
