It’s actually a pedestrian street with colorful private houses whose façades are reminiscent of Portobello in London or Burano in Venice. Such a lovely spot for a picture, isn’t it? As my bus arrived in Munich, I was thrilled to see this kind of building. Yeah, in Munich, you’ll see many typical Bavarian houses like this one in the picture. Different from Berlin, the atmosphere of this city is calmer, and the beer is best, too! I decided to take a train to Haarlem, after I took the wrong one to Zaandam. And I think I took the right decision to come to this city since its ancient buildings, cobbled streets, and winding waterways look so lovely. It’s not overrated to say that if you want to try the authentic chou à la crème, macaron, éclaire, and other French pastries as well as a bit of caffeine, this classic Café Odette is the right choice. I happened to stop by on my way to Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris at that time and I think that’s one of the best ways to experience the real French ambience. Even the façade looks so French. I admit that at first, I was a bit sceptic about this place. I just thought that it wouldn’t be that interesting. Then, I was wrong! Actually, there’s potential in this colorful village to be a unique place to be visited by tourists. Surprisingly, it’s pretty attractive inside and cheap, too. It was like I got a big slap on my face realizing that “don’t judge the book by its cover” is true. Memory of Turkey. Another most beautiful yet challenging waterfall I’ve ever visited. Coban Sewu has such an amazing view, not only from up above but also from down below (even more beautiful than I thought). The most important thing to me, however, climbing those almost vertical made of bamboo mixed iron stairs ups and downs was totally worth it, indeed!
