Начинаем Бароноябрь с двойного стонарика

Земо смотрит вслед улетающему хеликерриеру и пытается внушить себе надежду, что Мстители ещё вернутся, чтобы помочь, но сам себе не верит. Заковия не США, в неё можно принести смерть и разрушение и сделать вид, что так и было. Кто бы мог подумать, что начатое «Гидрой» продолжит Капитан Америка с друзьями.

В первый день Земо едва не засыпает от усталости прямо на камнях — его будит Оезник и уводит спать в машину, потому что ехать куда-то он наотрез отказывается.

На второй день к дому его отца приезжают те из его отряда, кто не погиб и не хоронит кого-то из своих. Мстители так и не появляются.

Сжимая в руках холодные пальцы жены, Земо обещает, что заставит виновных ощутить то же бессилие и отчаяние, что и он.

Но что он может противопоставить сверхлюдям? Они не боятся обычного оружия и в глазах большинства обычных людей они непогрешимые герои. Что есть у него, чего нет у них? Эта мысль не даёт ему спать в ночи после очередного дня, занятого организацией похорон и вступлением в титул.

Уже потом, когда Земо начинает собирать информацию на своих врагов, его осеняет. У него есть всё то же, что и у Тони Старка: знания и деньги. И ему больше некуда спешить.
