Here is UPSILON tackling the XC course at the 2015 World Breeding Championships for 7yo eventing horses, in Le Lion-D’Angers.

UPSILON is a stallion born in 2008 and standing at 1.67m. He’s registered in the French anglo-arab studbook as an anglo-arabe de croisement (AACR), meaning he’s an anglo-arab cross with at least 12,5% of arabian blood and full anglo-arab (AA) ascendants.

He’s out of the holsteiner stallion CANTURO and the anglo-arab mare O’VIVE (AA), by FUSAIN DU DEFE (AA).

This horse is only 8 years old, but already got an astonishing medal record with his rider Thomas Carlile :

1st in the 4yo French Championship

1st in the 5yo French Championship

1st in the 6yo French Championship

5th in the 6yo World Championship

1st of the 2015 Hartpury CCI 2*

2nd in the 7yo French Championship

2nd in the 7yo World Championship

1st of the 2016 Blenheim CIC 3*

Without a doubt the most promising youngster for French eventing.
