Dolce says hi everyone!!

I basically gave her the majority of winter off because I had no time. But now that the days are longer I’m going to try and ride more.

Already noticing how great she is in the barn away from her buddies this spring has been refreshing. It only took a year. 😅 So far, I’ve ridden her outside 3x. The 2nd ride was two weeks apart from the 1st, and the 3rd was 2 days apart from the 2nd (if that makes sense lol). In-between all that was about 3 lunges.

There is still some anxiety/anticipation (and sometimes spookiness) while riding outside but she has been pretty good so far considering it’s not consistent (yet). I have a lot to work on with her so fingers crossed I can make it happen. Indoor riding is no issue, she’s normally always really good inside.

Hi beautiful people, it’s been a while. 👋🏻

Dolce had her first lunge outdoors this year (while they were doing chaotic turn in) and considering she’s semi retired basically bc I never have time to do anything with her, she was pretty good. Of course fresh, but listened almost entirely so can’t complain!

However, I can just tell it’s gonna be a rough go when she moves back outside and I’ll need to take her from her friends. Was hoping this year would be better but based on the behaviors outside of the lunging today - I know it’ll be a challenge.

Overall she’s been good. Chilling, eating and hanging out with her friends (not missing me that’s for sure lol).
