OOF! Been a hot minute since I’ve been able to be here.  No promise still on returns.  But i just really wanted to let everyone know, I’m doing okay.  I still love Sadie and I still love the RP community here in Tumblr. Youve always all been so kind and wonderful to me, and i really wanna come back and do this blog justice like I used to.  That being said, I had went to a really dark place these past two years. My life literally falling a part and coming back together and the pieces are starting to realign and I’ve learned to take better care of myself.  I do hope to come back some day, but I know life is just being life right now, and i heavily appreciate the people that have been sticking around and understanding about life and rp.  Like, seriously guys, your amazing.  And I hope your all still here and reading this.  And for those who are looking to befriend me and get to know me, give me time. I will be back cuz Sadie means the world to me. VwV

“What did you have in mind?” AZ asks, withdrawing his hand the moment she steadied herself. He wiped it on his coat before grasping at a pokeball and releasing the sigilypgh within.

The bird-thing perched on his shoulder and he offered her a rock piece with his teeth. She picked it from him with her eyestalk, ground he corners away with psychic, and dropped it into the wide mouth of what one would assume was her belly.

“I am unfamiliar with cuisine of this region. Though I have had ‘pizza pockets’. They were very nice.”

“Oh yeah? Well that makes two of us.” she shrugged, smiling up at the big guy. “But, I’m a pretty simple lady to be honest, so I’m down with just getting a burger some some sort.” she turned away from him, gesturing for them to follow. 

The pokemon was strange and she wasn’t entirely sure she was a fan, but she let it be. It was strange enough they were eating rocks together, but she wasn’t going to let it deter her. 

After all, she was trying hard to be.....kinder.....

It was....

Hard. 

“So, your not from here...Where you from stranger?”

When she gets up from the table, Malcolm looks over at Cataleya, who gives a subtle shrug. She isn’t quite sure what’s going on, but she’ll find out. Sadie is prone to moodiness but that doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to be worried.

The admin gets up from the table as well and, as she’s heading to the fridge for a drink, gives Sadie’s arm a gentle pat. A sign that she’s available to talk.

Honestly, she wants to talk now, but rushing these things never goes well.

The meal from that point on is rather quiet. Cataleya and Malcolm discuss work things in soft voices while Sadie does whatever she feels she needs to do. And when they’re done eating, he takes their dishes to the sink, thanks them for the food, and leaves the girls alone. And the third bowl is still full.

“What’s up, Sadie?” she asks, breaking the silence.

Sadie watched them enjoy the food.  Although she kept her attention elsewhere, anywhere. To the point she pulled her cell out and scrolled through pintrest or some other misc. app. 

When addressed she raised her gaze, only to sigh and shrug.  “....haven’t had this meal in a while.....Reminded me of my paw....Just.... a lot of memories I can’t seem to process well......Sorry. Didn’t mean to bum everyone out.”

“I can imagine the scenery and all the beautiful plains. That’s where you get to see the little rascals get to run around.” He could mention them being chased around, due to the fact no one is allowed to disturb the animals there. It’s illegal in the end.

He could watch as his Cleffa is turning out be sleepy during the trip. She has her chin on top of Sadie’s head with a tiny bit of drool against the corner of the Pokemon’s mouth.

“Pardon her, she can be a little bored whenever we take a walk somewhere. She usually gets excited when we’re finally to our destination. Guess you can say she’s saving up energy.”

“She’s fine.” she stated rather flatly. Not seeming to mind the drool that dripped onto her beanie. 

“But as for the scenery? Were going at night so its not going to be anything to brag home about, but like I said.... at least theres the stars.” she shrugged. 

“....So I have a question for you....You hate Skull, you don’t seem to be all that fond of Alola....So when are you going to leave? Your just a tourist right?” she asked raising a brow.  “I mean....everyone ....eventually leaves.”

As hyped as I am for Pokemon Sword and Shield.  I just can’t seem to get over the boy.  Sun and Moon had such great NPCs. I look forward to the next gens.

“It’s more fun when you don’t have to do it. True. Shit started getting better for me once I joined skull too. They take care of us, like the times you and Plumes patched me up. Nobody ever did that when I was living on the streets.” He gave her a gentle nudge, watching her count the money as he sat as close as possible. 

          “I mean, even my mom likes you. That’s gotta mean something.”

A low chuckle escaped him while had climbed up onto one of the bamboo beams, napping right underneath the ceiling - still close enough to jump down if Jacks or Sadie needed him.

          “What I’m saying is, Skull gotta be the best thing that ever happened to me.                         Otherwise I wouldn’t have met your neurotic ass.” 

“Yeah yeah....I hear you....”  He had a point. A good point. And hell, she could agree with so many of those things. She had changed quite a bit since she started her membership in Team Skull. Everyone respected her space, her time,.... Well, most of everyone.  One of her mild annoyances was sitting right next to her. And she wouldn’t have her time being spent any other way.  Oh dear...her heart was starting to race again. Was that a slight blush on her cheeks. Terrible. Just terrible.  “Arceaaassss fuuuuuccckkkk.” she groaned pushing his face away. “Your so lame! You make it sound like were dating or something.” Her face turned away from him. Hoping he wouldn’t pick on her anymore. But knew he would one way or another.

Her stumble drew him to reach out and grab her head to steady her. No need to fall. “Its pretty Gneiss. Not very much chlorite. Not salty or bitter.”

“Uh.... Alright then.” she chuckled halfheartedly, shoving her hands into her pockets. She pushed from his hands, hoping they wouldn’t take offense to her wanting her space.  “So.... Did you wanna try and find someting to eat thats not so.....hard?” she mused.

“Good point. Good point.” He waved her comments off. “You’re such a kind individual, i literally forgot you were a part of that group. That’s a good sign, because i wasn’t seeing you as one of those delinquents.” He chuckled lightheartedly before calling out Sceptile to come with them as their body-guard.

“We are not doing anything, but we are going right now. I’m grateful though. There will be more stars there. You couldn’t really see anything in the sky in my hometown. It was too noisy and busy all the time. Cleffa will probably enjoy the sight the most.” He pets her head with the Pokemon smiling in delight.

He sighed in contentment before turning to Sadie. “Yes, she’s taking us to the stars. The most kind skull person, Cleffa i know.”

“Hmph....There ARE other good people in that organization...” she stated. “Some waayy better than me too.”  Her hands pushed into her pockets as she leaned back and away from them.

Sadie watched as they babied the pokemon, only to shrug and look back forward. 

“....I haven’t been to a ranch in sometime...so it will be nice to see the stars....Although the view from Po Town aint half bad either....But something about the smell of dirt and hay....its nice....” seemed like she was revisiting another memory.

“Uh....Thanks?” Sadie blinked, leaning her head to the side to take them from him. “....Look man, I’ve been homeless before too, but uh....You can’t be eating rocks....” she looked up at the massively tall man, leaning back a bit. Practically stumbling a bit to keep her balance.  “Woah...”

“i’m not afraid of those things. I’m just mostly concerned if we visit the place at night, in which we’re not going to.” He stated firmly with one of his eyebrows raised to get his message across. The last thing he would want is to go to bed with ghost Pokemon haunting his nightmares. “No, scratch that. I’m a little afraid of them.”

He stood up before following from behind. “Ah, we’re going now? Hm, impatient i see. Ah, Cleffa?” He noticed the little Pokemon grasped at his legs. “You want to come? Sure, just stick beside me. I really don’t want to see you wondering off again alone. Please promise me that.”

Afterwards, the little one climbed Sadie’s body to sit on her shoulders with the Pokemon’s head on the other’s head.

“Not beside me, but close enough. Pardon her. She just wants to stay comfy…in your hair i guess….”

“Hm? Then how the hell do you expect us to go to a ranch? News flash, my kind aren’t exactly welcomed all over the place.” she gestured to her clothing. She had fully planned to go in at night with him, just to see the animals. Sure going in the day would be nice, but....she was a Skull. And very much so unwelcomed. 

“And see! Ghost pokemon are so scary and creepy! You never know if its a Pokemon or some dead kid!” she pointed.

She looked at the Cleffa, raising a brow, only to relax and sigh. Reaching up to pat its head before opening the front door.  “I mean yeah? We’re not doing anything else.”

Cataleya might have her back turned away, but Malcolm doesn’t. He sees the nostalgic look on Sadie’s face. This moment clearly means something to her.

He can understand. The admin has that effect on him, too.

With the meal served, Cataleya takes a seat between her two friends, eager to try out the gumbo. She really should try to make food like this more often.

“This is so good…” she murmurs after her first spoonful of stew and rice.

Malcolm takes a moment to examine the food before taking his first bite. Not out of caution or anything like that. He’s just wants to appreciate how it looks. And when he finally does try it, he gives his honest opinion: “…C’est bon.”

He didn’t need to say it in Kalosian, but that’s just how he is sometimes.

Sadie stared at the bowl for a long moment, only to flinch when the others spoke up. Her eyes jumped between Cat and Malcolm. Only to smile softly. 

“Oh, Well that’s good.” she nodded, only to slide her bowl over to the other two.  “Eat up. Plenty to go around.” she stood up at that. Seemed she wasn’t going to even eat her own food. What was that about?

Sadie walked around the counter and stood in front of the two as they ate, only to start cleaning up after herself.

“That would that be a worthwhile visit, but hey i can take you wherever you want. Long you’re enjoying yourself, i don’t mind getting hit in the groin by some horses.” He joked dryly, patting her on the back. “Believe it or not, but i’ve never been to a ranch.”

He gave her a reassuring smile, pinching her cheek again. “Unless you’re scared of some cows or chickens. I didn’t know someone could be frightened of them.”

“Stop touching me!” she fussed, slapping his hands away again, only to start rubbing her cheek. At least he was grabbing on the good side of her face and not the marred up one.  “And I ain’t scared of those things. Just ghost Pokemon.” she pointed out as she grunted to stand and get away from his pinching fingers.  “Tch....Enjoying myself...Like that matters.... come on.” She waved for him to follow.

He pinches her cheek beside him. “Hey, i can be fun you know. Just tell me your favorite dog is and i don’t mind visiting a pet shelter. The puppies can get lonely in there.”

“Alcohol and the whole stick about partying is pretty mundane. I’d rather travel to somewhere nice, maybe the canyons or the waterfalls. That’s the plan for me in the future, traveling to those destinations.”

“Don’t do that!” She slapped his hands away as he teased her. Pouting begrudingly at him. 

“you think going to Shelters are fun?? Geez, sounds more depressing than anything. Going and seeing Pokemon with no homes, and no on to take care of them? Ugh. No thanks. Sounds like a heart break hotel and I ain’t into it.” she waved her hand dismissively to the idea. 

Although the idea of travelling did hit her.  “Hm....I wouldn’t mind seeing a ranch or something again....” she admitted, bringing her knees up to hug around them and look away. “....Something about hard work and labor as well as farm animals and all that dumb shit just....reminds me of better times...”
