here’s my analysis on mingyu’s (very interesting) chart:
the first thing that strikes me is mingyu’s pisces moon. he’s very sensitive. he is also dreamy and empathetic, but he can be consumed by his feelings sometimes if he’s not careful.
let’s start with mingyu’s type. similar to wonwoo and dokyeom, mingyu needs someone who will not bore him. wonwoo and dokyeom need a lot of mental stimulation, but mingyu just needs stimulation. end of. his aries sun and venus are impulsive, competitive, sensation-seekers. i don’t think he would necessarily gravitate towards people that like to have highly involved conversation. i think he would prefer someone who is more physically exciting instead. going out and trying exciting, new things is more important to him than good conversation (but still, don’t let what conversation does take place be boring). heart to hearts will be important to him in the case of a committed relationship (pisces moon), but before you’ve reached that point with him, it’s probably not going to be considered.
mingyu is the pursuer. he sees what he wants and goes after it. he can be a shameless flirt, but to make it worse, his pisces moon gives him the ability to understand you so his flirting will hit different. it will feel more personal. it would take a strong person to resist giving into him right away. but worry not, he likes the chase (aries sun/venus). his virgo mars is methodical and excellent at accomplishing “tasks” so that only helps to keep him focused. he will be persistent (not in the creepy, can’t take a hint kind of way), and you’ll be even more charmed by his “commitment.”
the problem is… he still might get bored. the chase can be very exciting for him, but once he gets what he wants (you), the excitement may die there. this is where his pisces moon comes into play, though. he will be drawn to a partner that feels warm and safe. of course, you also have to be exciting and adventurous, too, in order to grab his attention in the first place. but you’ll only keep it if you can make him feel at home with you. he can find fun and excitement anywhere. he can’t find home just anywhere.
in the bedroom, he is high energy, high stamina. fond of quickies and spontaneous sex. not likely to have soft, slow sex unless he’s in love with you, and even then, it’s probably not his preferred style. he saves that for days he’s really in his feelings. his virgo mars ensures that he knows exactly what buttons to push to make you lose it and his aries placements give him the energy to see it through. 10/10 sex-haver.
once you’ve gotten him to commit to you, he is everything all at once. he is loving. he is spontaneous. he is fun. he is understanding. he is jealous. he is passionate. he is mouthy. he is driven. he is protective. you get a little bit of everything with mingyu. and that’s precisely why he needs someone who can give him a little bit of everything back.
