Made this post about 15 minutes after the repair guy who fixed the pump on my dishwasher packed up his tools and left, as the dishwasher was whirring along doing my dishes from that morning.
He said the exact same thing, which I did not know before that, so spreading this knowledge.
I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"
My little brother insisted if I was going to post about him, he wanted a cut of the "profits". When I explained to him that Tumblr isn't monetized, and is pretty pointless, he and my older brother pointed out that he'd still be bringing me "fame and notoriety" if the post got "big". So we agreed, if the post hit 10k notes, which seemed extremely farfetched and silly at the time, I'd take my little brother out for sushi (his favorite food) and let him eat as much as he wants.
I guess God wanted the little robot to enjoy some sushi 🍣 🥲
Life outside seems easier than the 'prison life' we endure in Gaza. I try to imagine other places where life is difficult, but I realize that even the harshest environments are open; at least there is a way out. Gaza is a closed prison. A rocket could kill you at any moment, food and water are rationed, and the heaviest burden is being besieged by memories, destruction, and graves. It is a constant cycle of physical and psychological torment.
Prices in Gaza have started to rise unusually, and goods have almost disappeared from the markets. Types of vegetables are scarce and expensive, and meats have vanished from the markets too. I mean, what's happening is the beginning of a new famine; food is expensive and scarce in the markets!

I feel helpless and I don’t know how to explain to my brother and what to tell him that’s people don’t care anymore there’s no donations .. I can’t sleep because of overthinking about everything being responsible and u are the one who must take care of your family is exhausting my brother who lives in hell and my family in Egypt . I just feel useless and sad 💔
i don't care what those tiktok and instagram influencers tell you, have three meals a day!!! have a snack!! have that sweet treat!! have food that makes you feel good!!! especially if you're a woman!! starving yourself to look "desirable" will only make you desirable to people who want you to stay malnourished forever. it's a cycle of misery!!
You know, there's this cliché that teenage boys always eat massive amounts, but teenage girls really aren't that different if they're not suppressed by diet culture and body shaming. Like, I was a teenage girl who frankly just stopped bothering to fit into mainstream beauty ideals at some point, and I would regularly make myself just one big massive pot of pasta and devour it completely. This wasn't even stress eating or anything, I just genuinely needed the energy because you know, I was a teenager and my body was developing. I feel like so many teenage girls think they need to eat as little as possible to be petite and pretty, but the truth is that your body is developing just as intensely as teenage boys' bodies. Eat more, please, your body needs it.

All these industries with shortages of workers and they can’t figure out why.
Im proposing the hypothesis that the reason we don’t have enough doctors/pilots/bus drivers/etc is that maybe, just maybe, having your entire industry function as a lifelong hazing ritual isn’t the best recruiting strategy.
Doctors are subject to 8 years of post-secondary education and are forced to work 48 hour shifts.
Pilots and other transportation workers have absurd hours of service requirements that start your rest period as “the moment you shut the vehicle down” and can be as short as 9 hours in some cases.
Railroad workers have to be available on-call 6 days a week and be ready within two hours notice. They don’t get sick time.
Retail workers have to keep a veneer of politeness against any and all abuse or they can be fired.
Truck drivers get paid by mileage and rarely see pay for shipper or receiver delays.
Work should not be designed to make you a miserable burnout and yet here we are.
Before anything else, thank you from the deepest part of our broken hearts to everyone who stood beside us and refused to let my sister fight alone. Your donations, prayers, and kindness carried her into surgery and gave us a small light in the middle of endless darkness. We held onto hope because of you. 🙏
But now we are facing another painful battle. My sister is currently lying in the ICU, surrounded by machines and under constant monitoring, fighting every moment to recover. The doctors said she must stay there for at least a week and urgently needs medications and treatment so her body can heal and survive this nightmare. We still need $800, and we are terrified because the donations have almost stopped while her need for medicine grows more urgent every hour. 💔😔
People are scrolling past our cries for help as if our pain is invisible, while we are drowning in fear and helplessness. We are living through devastating days in Gaza where suffering never ends hunger, fear, lack of clean water, lack of medicine, sleepless nights, and the constant feeling that we may lose the people we love at any moment. We are exhausted in every possible way, yet we keep begging because my sister’s life means everything to us.💔
Please, we are asking you with tears in our eyes and pain in our hearts, do not abandon us now. Do not let my sister survive the surgery only to suffer because we cannot afford the medicines she desperately needs. Any donation, even the smallest amount, could help save her recovery, ease her pain, and give our family a reason to keep believing that humanity still exists.🙏💔😔
Oh God, my wife has completely lost consciousness due to lack of medication. My wife is in danger; she could die at any moment. 😭
We have no more medication to help her. We are living in dire circumstances.
For four days I have been pleading with you to provide medication to save my wife, but no one is helping me, and everyone here is ignoring me. Why? Should my wife be deprived of treatment? The healthcare system here in the Gaza Strip has completely collapsed, and the situation here is catastrophic.
My wife and unborn child are in danger. I can't bear to lose her; I might die with her. No one is standing by me in my ordeal; everyone is ignoring me. I die a hundred times a day.
I feel like I'm living in hell. Death is more merciful than this life and this cruel world. No one cares about us.😭
My wife urgently needs treatment now, or she will die at any moment. Her condition is worsening every minute; she has become thin and frail, her face is yellow, and I can see the signs of death in her face. 😭
We urgently need 650 euros for treatment. Please help me, don't leave me alone, don't let my wife die, don't let us face death. Please stand with me, help me.
These may be my last words or the last time I write a post about my family, so I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and does not support me with a single word and ignores me.
Time is running out, there's nothing left. My wife is in a terrible state because of the lack of medication. We haven't been able to buy the medicine yet. My wife is going to die. Please donate quickly, we urgently need €540 now. 😭
In a place where children no longer know what safety feels like, a mother is trying to keep her children alive despite everything 💔
I don’t know how I am still holding on...
My name is Najah, and I am a mother of six children, including newborn twins 👶👶 who need urgent care every single moment.
We are living through extremely difficult days filled with fear, hunger, and the lack of basic necessities 🥺🍞
Sometimes my children go to sleep without enough food, and I stand helpless before their tears because I cannot provide milk, diapers, or medicine for them.
My newborn twins are still so fragile, and their tiny bodies need constant nutrition and care 🍼💔
But our situation has become far beyond my ability to handle, while my other children face hunger, cold, and fear every day.
For many days, we have not received any donations or help, and our situation keeps getting worse with every passing hour.
I try to stay strong for my children, but my heart breaks every night when I see them suffering and I have nothing to protect them with.
Every second now is precious ⏳
Every act of kindness could be the reason my children survive 🙏
I am not asking for the impossible — only for a chance for my children to live safely, stay together, and have hope for another tomorrow.
Please, from the bottom of my heart, do not ignore our suffering 💔
Any small donation could help me buy milk, diapers, food, and medicine for my children.
Please donate $25, $50, $100, or any amount you can give 🤲
Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a real difference in my children’s lives.
And if you cannot donate, please share our story everywhere you can 📢
Your compassion may reach someone who can save my children before it is too late.
I beg you — stop here, donate, share, and choose kindness before this silence becomes another tragedy for my family.
Thank you to everyone who listened to our pain 🌸
Your kindness today could give my children another chance at life and safety.
